Linwood Corners Cafe — Restaurant in Fraser Township

Food is good. I highly recommend having them read your carry out order back to you or you will be highly disappointed. First order was a crispy chicken wrap with ranch. Wrap did not have a single drop of ranch on it and was very dry. Second order was steak and eggs: eggs over easy, crispy american fries, and steak medium rare. Received Bacon and eggs with american fries. Called restaurant back to tell them of the mistake and was offered to only get the steak at an additional cost. While trying to take to other on what we wanted to do they proceed to hang up the phone.

I understand mistakes happen but when asking for something medium rare common sense would have told you I wasn't ordering bacon. You wouldn't have disappointed customers if you took the time to listen to them the first time.

Disgusting

We visited yesterday for the first time in years and it was absolutely horrid. Cold gravy on the hot Turkey sandwich so that was sent back then we can hear them arguing in the kitchen about it. The plate wasn’t even warm. All they did was pour hot gravy over it making everything like warm. We also asked for white meat and got almost all dark so that wasn’t even eaten. The grilled cheese was decent (it’s honestly hard to mess those up) but again it was cold. The cheese was congealed. The chicken tenders were just Gordon’s boxed tenders you throw in the oven or fryer. At least those were warm.

There were only 4 tables including us and it took almost 40 min to get our cold food.

Then the bill, almost $50 for 3 people for lunch is absolutely ridiculous. Especially where it’s sub par, cold, and nasty.

We definitely won’t be back. This was a gold mine years ago and I can now understand why it was almost...

Came for breakfast today with a group of 10 people to surprise our Mother in law with a surprise cruise vacation. One person got a long blonde hair in their food. We brought it up to our waitress who argued with us that it couldn't possibly be hair since cooks wear hairnets. But, waitresses do NOT. The hair was blonde in his food. Our group waitress was blonde. She took food to kitchen. Brought it back & told us it would not be replaced. So, this person didn't get to eat breakfast. They were incredibly disappointed. They had to pay for contaminated, inedible food & was leaving hungry. Another person wasn't served any food & was informed the " kitchen forgot to make their order." The kitchen then made the food & brought it out. As the rest of the table was finishing breakfast. So they took the food to go. This was our first time here. Not impressed.
