Here's 2U — Restaurant in Fredericksburg

So upon entry of the business I noticed an old smell, not food like. Waited at the front for a few minutes without any direction so we sat ourselves in the one booth they have. The booth had the appearance of cushions but the cotton had been completely destroyed from years of being sat on. Finally a waitress came over with our menus and we asked for water. When she returned with the water I could taste the chemicals from the dishwasher on the cup.

So we asked about some of the menu items and the special items and one of the specials was more expensive than the same choice on the menu so clearly there's a disconnect there. We asked about the "pizza burger" and she said " it's from the freezer and I wouldn't eat that" so she doesn't know how to sell.

I was given "salad bar" which consists of iceberg lettuce, tuna/chicken salad and dinner rolls. All of the containers still had the sulifane from when they took it out of the fridge. Judging by the condition of the dinner rolls I can only imagine that the tuna/chicken salad had been made several weeks ago.

While waiting for the food I looked around the restaurant and saw that several chairs and tables had seen better days.

I order the boasted chicken and asked for two white pieces and got a breast and a wing. The chicken was so dry it made me sick because I was forced to drink the chemical flavored water.

Over all its a literal dump and I'm uncertain how they haven't been shut down by the food and health...

we went ate here twice now on a Sunday morning and twice our food was cooked wrong. the first time we let it go and ate it and paid. the second time we asked for replacement eggs and recieved them but not once was checked on or offered a coffee refill when they went around with the coffee pot. I also found a hair halfway through eating my omelet cooked into it so I did not finish. we went up to pay and the waitress asked if I wanted to take my food with and I informed her about the hair since we were never checked on she didn't apologize or anything. my bf said we won't be back since this was the second time having bad food and service and all she had to say with a smile was she was glad she wouldn't have to see us again it was such a...

We decided to try out here's 2 U in Fredericksburg, Iowa tonight to check out their fish fry. They have a very nice soup and salad bar with lots of different salads to choose from. My husband tried their two-piece fish dinner and said it was good. If you need something to do during Lent check out here's 2 U.
