The price is a little high for menu items, but otherwise a great place to meet up with friends/co-workers. The menu has daily specials, and the food is pretty good. It's just a little over-priced for what I'm getting. For example, Taco Tuesday features four different kinds of taco (beef, steak, pork or fish) that all have the same Chipotle sauce. For $4 or $5, you get 2 street tacos that are definitely street tacos size. I always wish for one more.... As another example, the portion size of the nachos are ok but you can get twice the size of nachos for $3 less at the Harmon in downtown Tacoma.

This place seems like a greasy spoon place, but they are priced like a date night restaurant. If you're looking for a good group place than you're in luck; a group of friends ordering plates for the table is a very good time. 10 to 20 co-workers can pass plates of appetizers and adequately share food, while enjoying reasonably priced drinks.

That being said, if you're coming here because you just need a decent bar (don't care about menu), it's fantastic. They have some of the best pool tables in the immediate area, fantastic signature cocktails, and regularly host events (sports, karaoke, trivia night) so it's always a...

I've gone to Ricky J's on my own several times and has a pretty decent time. The last two times I went with my girlfriend she was cut off by the same security guard. She was doing nothing wrong. The first time she accidentally went into a room that she wasn't supposed to. No signage, no warning. She was looking for the bathroom and accidentally went into the room that has the black curtain. The guy pulled her out and yelled at her then said she was cut off. At that point she had one drink, that's it. The second time was last night and she was up and dancing with a group of people and the same guy came up again and cut off her wristband saying she was cut off. No reason given. Red haired security guard with the kilt both times. I used to like it here but for some reason she was being singled out. We talked to the other guards and they couldn't understand why she was cut off and said they would never have done that, she was just having a good time. It sucks because we really like the place, but that guy has it out for her for some reason. I did notice that both times a woman was talking to him and pointing at her before it happened. Not sure what's up, but we've never been cut off that quickly...

The mister wanted to go out for dinner so we decided to go to #RICKYJ'S down the road from our house. Lemme tell u the food SUCKED!!!!! Both Kylee and I got Alfredo pasta. She had chicken and I had steak. The damn steak had NO TASTE AT ALL and the pasta was drowned in butter and had no Alfredo taste AT ALL! Lawrence had a country fried steak which the gravy SUCKED and a baked potatoe that was COLD and veggies just like they put it in a bowl and warmed it up in the microwave for about 2 mins. Kylas steak that had no damn taste as well and her "garlic mashed potatoes" didn't even have seasoning and veggies also prolly warmed up in the microwave 🖓🖓🖓🖓 I honestly think we should have just went to burger King and had something that would have tasted waaaaay better! Guess we can cross that place off our list of places to eat at in Puyallup. 1st and last time eating there best believe that 😠😠😠😠 I'm glad the chick didn't hear me when I asked for their fried mushrooms. God knows what that would taste like. She came back asking if we wanted boxes.....Guess what my answer was......HELL NAW THIS FOOD WAS AWEFUL!!!! 😷😷😷😷 Now I'm just laying here with my belly turning coz of all that damn butter our pasta...
