Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Fredonia

The good news: the staff was very friendly and the place was clean.

The bad news: the food was terrible. I don't mean "Pizza Hut's menu is terrible." No, this particular restaurant's food was not the same as all other Pizza Huts.

We shared cheese breadsticks and a Supremo sandwich. The cheese sticks had plenty of cheese, but not much flavor. The "marinara" was a half-container of water with some tomato particles floating in it. It was so watery it didn't even stain the breadstick red (or even pink) when it was dipped in. We asked if we could have another thicker portion but the (very friendly) waitress said they were "all just like that."

My half of the sandwich was just a piece of ham - husband reported his half had two meats. (That can happen - lots of places don't make their sandwiches "neatly.") My pickle was more like a thin slice of pickle skin.

The only other restaurant we saw was a Sonic, but its sign wasn't lit, and we'd been driving for hours with hours to go, so we resigned ourselves to our meager and mostly tasteless meal. (We still left a nice tip, since the place was clean and the...

This Pizza Hut has really improved. Thad does a terrific job. Wings are good. I never get good service from the waitress or server. So I go to the counter and Thad always gets me what I want. Today the waitress took my order, and never stopped at my table again. I am sure that she wonders why she does not make better tips. She was surly and dismissive. She would walk away as I was still talking. She refused to get me a plastic bag. I am very puzzled as to why the waitresses here do not want to do their job. Attitude and checking back with the table matters. I know it was Sunday and I waited until church crowd was served and done before I walked in. Thank you, Thad. You are terrific. The last time I was here, there was a fight between manager and a worker. Manager did hustle the worker out. Manager here deliberately will not hire seasoned or professional servers. This place is nasty!!! The tables & menus are just as sticky as the floor. The floors are so sticky you can save a trip to the gym I'm getting a great leg workout just trying to peel my feet off the floor to walk. 8 O' Clock in the evening & the lights are even on, had to sit by the window so we could have some light. What I am assuming is supposed to be French dressing in the salad bar was liquid on top & solid on the bottom reminded me of a paint can that has been sitting for a year.
