Stopped on our drive up the coast and were blown away. It's a 9.5/10 lobster roll, probably the best one I've had so far - certainly the best this summer on our east coast road trip from NYC to Atlantic Canada. Great value for the amount of lobster jammed in there, with very pleasant service and a super quick turnaround. Definitely worth a stop off the highway. Hit up Maine Brewing company on the way back out.

The lobster roll and the clam chowder was very tasty (way better than The Lobster Shack at Two Lights in Cape Elizabeth). The mayo was the right amount and did not over power the chunky lobster meats. The clam chowder...perfect to my taste. Went there during off-peak for lunch but still there was still line but quick.

Great quick service place just outside Freeport ME....excellent Maine lobster roll...nice mix of lobster meat with celery and mayo....nicely toasted bun. Fries were good well seasoned and generally crispy. Heard from others eating that other menu items were good as well. Would recommend for a quick bite.

Have lived in Freeport since 2004 and somehow never managed to try Cindy's until this year. First time, I ordered a clam roll and fries. Clams were plentiful, perfectly battered and delicious. French fries are homemade and done nicely. I was thoroughly happy with that meal. So much so that I returned a few weeks later and ordered the fries again and a fish sandwich. Without a doubt the best fish sandwich I have had in my 23 years living in Maine! Huge thick portion of perfectly fried fish. Nice batter, not too thick or thin. Not at all greasy. The bun was nicely toasted and add-ons include lettuce, tomato and American cheese. My only complaint was that I wasn't told the cheese would add $1.50 to the sandwich cost of $15.99. It was, however, well worth it as the sandwich was beyond excellent. I strongly recommend a stop at Cindy's the next time you want a delicious taste of Maine! I am planning a summer of...

I am a crab-in-Maine connoisseur and Cindy’s is by far the best I have had. The fabulous meal is made better thanks to their spectacular sweet potato tots and bbq sauce (both homemade) and reasonable prices. In case you were wondering, the lobster roll is excellent if that is more your speed, and they have options for even the pickiest kid. Some final thoughts, I have never waited more than 10 minutes for food, It’s incredibly convenient to access as it is right off the interstate, and it is an easy distance from downtown Freeport. I regularly leave the midcoast to get my fix here, and I recommend...

We stumbled upon this place travelling south from freeport and I am so glad I found this place!

This place has excellent fried clams and crab rolls. They use fresh seafood and the food is well seasoned. I would definitely recommend anyone that's looking to try some Maine lobster/crab rolls to try this place.

Couple things that I must warn you about: The food is slightly expensive. There is outdoor seating only (I recommend you eat in your car). It's near the highway so you'll hear the cars. The parking space is quite tight and it's not paved (gravel).

Other than that this place is definitely...
