Our friends group decided to go out to eat. We pulled up and I immediately wanted to leave when I saw the outside. I’m SO GLAD WE STAYED. The food was AMAZING!!! The burgers are huge, all the toppings and bun where super fresh. The French fries are those French fries that you get at an festival that are fresh cooked and would be perfect with malt vinegar. I got a biscuit bowl to split. The biscuits where super soft and such great flavor. The onion rings we got where cooked perfectly, and hands down some of the best around. 10/10 for all of the food that the whole group got. Everything was delicious. This is our new favorite spot. Oh and don’t even get me started about the service. It was SPECTACULAR. She even brought out my 1yr olds food before everyone else because the waitress could tell that she was hungry. I travel to Fremont Ohio for work once in a while and this time we used maps to find a sit down restaurant. My husband wanted breakfast even though it was 11am. A's Family Restaurant came up and had 4.7 stars and the first review I saw said the best place in town for breakfast! The space was smaller but that did not take away from the big flavor and family feel. The waitress was very nice, decor was tasteful and I even think they decorate for the holidays year round as they were just switching over to st Patrick's day from valentines day. Like I said food was great, no waiting too ling and there were great options for breakfast lunch and dinner. Average to a bit more pricey but very worth it for the flavor, quality and portions! Although we appreciated the waitress warning us, there is no good reason that your water turns yellow after a storm. She said it was still good to drink but that warning made us get fountain drinks instead. Why does a restaurant in town get yellow water? Be serious about your business and install a filter system.

As for the food, meh. Sausage with my dish was pretty good but most everything else was unexceptional. Also, don't get the sausage gravy bowl (different dish). It was just white gravy with no sausage or even sausage flavor.

I'm surprised by the positive reviews for this place. Maybe my experience was the exception...
