Manhattan Deli — Restaurant in Fresno

10/10! This place is so damn delicious. I go there a few times a month for lunch since I work in the area. I started coming around about 5 years ago, Covid era, and was immediately impressed. They, of course, had to follow all regulations: local, state, and nation wide. But that didn't seem to affect their business at all. Yes, there was limited stand up room for ordering, but if you called your order in advance, it was perfect. Still is, actually. Their food is decently priced, no more than any fast food chain. And you do get a good amount of food for the price. They have a good variety of food from sandwiches, burgers, fried sea food, salads, and wraps. They also have this new banana pudding from a local vendor sold there and it is to die for! Their customer service is honestly what sold it for me. When I first started coming around, the owner was the one working the register and he was always so polite, courteous, and funny. The girl working the register now is AMAZING! She is so damn sweet and funny. I love coming in and just shooting the breeze with her. This place has definitely solidified it's place in our biweekly rotation for this...

First let me start by saying I wish I could give this place 100 stars ! I found this place on DoorDash. My first order was the Philly cheesesteak with fries and a drink and a side of their mouthwatering fried mushrooms! The ladies with me said it looked and smelled delicious, so the next night we all ordered a meal, did so every for almost a week, they all tried items while I stuck with my Philly cheesesteak and fries mushrooms. Took a break for a few days then ordered again, this time adding a milkshake and jalapeño poppers! The milkshakes are to die for! They have so many varieties. I’ve had the banana and Oreo, banana cheesecake, Oreo cheesecake and one where I had them do a banana, Cheesecake, Oreo and cake batter. As for the food, I’ve had the cheesesteak, roast-beef sandwich, pastrami sandwich, Manhattan burger , and the avocado burger, and my daughter had the bacon double. I’ve ordered here so many times, DoorDash has this message with other restaurants saying “ want to try something new?” This is now one of my favorite places ! This is my favorite place to eat in Fresno and I would come here at least once a week. every time I would come in I would always feel like I was well known by the staff and felt appreciated as a customer, however this has changed a lot since they hired the new girl that works the cash register she is very rude and is always talking on the phone with her head phones I feel so unwelcome that I don’t even want to small talk with the staff when I go in and actually try to avoid talking at all because she makes me uncomfortable as a guest I always ask for extra ranch when I go in and she tries to tell me that they charge in a rude way as if she is trying to convince me not to ask for any and when I did pay for the ranch she forgot to give it to me and when I went back she didn’t even take accountability as an employee or apologize about forgetting she just stared at me and was still talking on the phone I think she got to comfortable to fast working here and didn’t take any time to learn the clientele I definitely have been coming in less and she will make the reputation go down quick with...
