Sugarboy Donuts — Restaurant in Frisco

I decided to give Sugarboy Donuts a try for the first time through the Too Good To Go app, and honestly, I was really let down. I’ve used the app quite a few times at other bakeries and usually end up pleasantly surprised with both the quantity and variety of items in the surprise bag. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here.

The portion I received was noticeably smaller than what I’ve gotten from other local donut shops, and the selection was very limited — just a few basic donuts with no variety or effort to make it feel special. Part of the fun of using Too Good To Go is discovering new favorites or trying different flavors you might not normally order, but this bag didn’t offer that at all.

I was hoping to use the app to find a new regular donut spot for our family, but this one definitely missed the mark. The donuts themselves were just okay — not bad, but nothing memorable — and the overall experience felt disappointing compared to the value I’ve received elsewhere. Between the lack of variety, small quantity, and underwhelming presentation, I don’t see myself trying Sugarboy...

I visited this new donut shop that just opened up next to my house. I'm going to be in serious trouble. This is a family run business and I had a chance to get to talk to them about what makes a great donut and the owner/baker had his daughter give me a donut to try for my opinion and these are really good donuts!!! I tried their Croissant strawberry and Nutella donut and it was fantastic and worth every calorie!! I also got a nice assortment of a few other donuts they have and still working my way through them but the plain glazed they gave me as a sample was very good. I highly recommend you stop by and try them. The most import detail is they are open to 8PM when most donut shops close at 2pm in Texas. They also have coffee and bottle tea as well. You MUST try them and support this great family run business. There are very few of them left...

(Español abajo) Had two people tell me about this place- one loved them, one didn't. I ordered the Sugarboy Box, got some extra things. I did this via Uber. (YES... that was SO expensive- don't do it.) Maybe if you go in person and choose your own box... your donuts will be different. I'm not sure. I wasn't expecting my box to be like the picture, but just in case you are.🤷🏽‍♀️ The cronut texture was dry and the spinach pastry was meh,  but the donuts were good. It's your typical neighborhood donut shop. I was half and half on them. Dos gente me hablaron de este lugar. Uno le encantaron y la otra no. Tuvimos la Sugarboy Box y algunas cosas extra.
