Long Lake Bar of Harrison — Restaurant in Frost Township

I stopped with another female friend, who is a 1-2 drink n burger "frequent flyer" at Long Lake Bar. Not a large menu, but food was good and quick, great prices, good drinks not shy on the alcohol n drink prices great as well. Friendly staff and owner on sight chatting w patrons in bar area. Not large bar basically 1 room with bar taking most of east wall. Definitely a traditional small town bar, locals frequent n everyone knows each other. But it was not one that a out of towner would feel uncomfortable. Not busy when we went - weekday between 4-6pm. Would definitely go again for food n cocktail, even alone or with another person not familiar. As a female I felt very safe, n would not have to worry about drunks or creepers And even though it was not a weekend party night, i dont think the obnoxious, barely 21 crowd hang here and create drama. Since 2017 , I’ve stopped in Long Lake a few time. First time food was okay beer was really cold. I decided to wait a little while before going back. Second visit I thought management stepped up their game as the food was much better. I stopped in this weekend for lunch, yes they have a small menu but it fits this bar. I got a cheeseburger asked if I wanted “everything” on it, ordered fries and a beer. When the burger and fries came, the fries were hot and good, but the cheeseburger was just that bun, patty and cheese not so good at all. Yuck comes to mind. Shout out to Brooklyn for waiting on us at long lake bar. We sat at the bar and asked for menus and the hippie bartender just walked away after giving us them, never offered us a drink or anything. Then waited on a table that came in 5 minutes after us and kept walking by us as if we weren't there. Also she was complaining how she had people just walk out on her before we got there. Well Maybe you should do your job correctly and you won't have that problem cause we almost walked out as well had it not been for Brooklyn.
