Yikes! Everything was bad. The service was awful, the food was between bad and average, and the atmosphere was non-existent. College wrestling was on TV (which is odd during March madness). The pizza was very nearly burnt, the toppings were very, very light, and the staff, although friendly, were not, at all, attentive. This used to be Teddy Spaghetti’s, which was a decent place, but this is a “one and done” for us. Every staff person seemed to be doing everything for the first time. We were, literally, the only couple in the place for the first 15-20 minutes at about 8:30 pm (they close at 10). We had to ask for our bill, ask for take out containers, and find the staff for any kind of service. If any one element was at least average, we would go back…while we were there another family of four came in and they received the same kind of service neglect and burnt pizza we did AND had to ask for each element of their meal. The appetizers came out after about a half hour (we ordered the garlic cheese things). If the owner of this place is not thoroughly embarrassed by tonight’s performance, there will be another opportunity for another restaurant here soon. The food is unremarkable, the staff was oblivious, the atmosphere was non existent (no customers, no music, college wrestling on the only TV), and the prices were quite high. This whole thing feels like an experiment to test the tolerance of people who need to be drunk to like this place. Save your money, go to...
Read moreThe first time we went, our pizza was missing sausage. The owner was very apologetic and offered us a free pizza on our next visit. When we went back a couple weeks later, we put our order in so it would be ready. When we got there, we ordered our deluxe pizza and a sub. The replacement pizza was also missing sausage. So again, the owner was apologetic and said he would have his brother personally make it. My husband and I decided to split the sub while we waited. When my husband bit into his, he found a piece of cut-up Styrofoam. We just sat and waited for our pizza. About an hour later, the owner came out and asked if we got our pizza because he had seen it come out of the oven over 30 minutes ago. At this point I could tell that my husband's blood was boiling so he went out to the car mumbling trying not to blow his top at which point I asked for a refund, to which they obliged. We witnessed several people who had been waiting over an hour and several others that we heard apologies going out to for messing their orders up. So if you're good with long waits and not getting what you ordered, then this might be an adventure for you. As for us, I don't think we will...
Read moreExcited to try the new local eatery, we ordered a meat pizza and a veggie pizza for takeout. They estimated 25 minutes, our order was ready when we arrived, and they got it right.
After getting back home, we were pleased to discover that the pizzas were still hot when we opened the boxes. The initial bite left us pleasantly surprised, with flavors surpassing expectations. With each subsequent bite, our enjoyment grew, and it didn't take long for our family to gobble down both pizzas!
Impressed by our experience, I shared it with my son, who decided to try it himself. I volunteered to pick up his order, and upon returning to Cadena's, I received another friendly welcome.
Once again, they fulfilled their promise of accuracy and timeliness. This time, we ventured into their specialty pizza and indulged in a half order of their cheesy garlic bread, which emitted a tempting aroma alllll the way to my son's house!
While a cauliflower crust isn't on the menu yet, I'm optimistic that they might consider it for keto-conscious customers in the future.
With the positive experience we've had, we're looking forward to revisiting Cadena's to explore more of their...
