Rock Springs Store & Deli — Restaurant in Fulton Township

I've been driving by this place for over 20 years and had never stopped. BIG mistake on my part. An acquaintance told me to try out their homemade crab bisque and their subs yesterday, and since I didn't feel like cooking that night, drove on down. WARNING: Do NOT go in here super hungry, or you will walk out with a WHOLE lot of stuff!! They have so many yummy looking things to eat, both freshly made, AND pre-packaged for quick grab an go, that making up your mind will be difficult. When you walk in the door you have a food case right there chock full of freshly made salads (potato, macaroni, broccoli, etc.) A deli case packed with Dietz & Watson meats, cheeses, etc. Single slices of homemade cakes and pies. Crab pretzels ready to take home and bake yourself. Or you can order hot or cold subs (which are very good - a little pricey, though, but you are paying for better deli meat), or sandwiches, or pizza. Haven't tried their pizza yet. Give me time. I will. Throughout the store are locally made cakes, pies, doughnuts, brownies, cupcakes, cookies, pastries, etc. Not chain supermarket junk, but GOOD stuff. In the refrigerated cases in the back are more to-go containers of homemade soups and other foods. And the crab bisque? DELICIOUS!! Not cheap, but worth it. Bottom line - I'm an idiot for not having stopped...

Worst service ever today. My husband walked in and placed an order. He then came back out to the truck so I could go in and place my order since our child was sleeping. When I went in the last in a blue and white sweatshirt asked what I wanted. I said my husband was just in here and placed and order before I could get anything else’s out she asked what the name was I gave her the name and walked away. When Che came back she said with a massive attitude that it wasn’t ready. I replied with I know he was just in here 5 seconds ago. She then replied that I didn’t need to be condescending which o then stated she could have waited for 5 seconds to hear all I had to say before cutting me off and walking away. She then refused to finish my transaction and walked away before I could say anything else. Then Second Lady in a black shirt came down and took care of the lady behind me didn’t even say one word to me till the other lady walked out. She then said with a massive attitude what do you want. At this point I’m pissed so I pay for my husband food and leave. I will not give them my business again. Worst...

Called in to place an order for two breakfast sandwiches and got asked three times to repeat my order the girl acted so confused when I said I wanted scrapple on one of them...then she asked for my name and before I could give it to her she hung up on me...then I went to pick up the food and the lady at the counter told me I needed to speak up when I told her my name... like excuse me ??? It was almost 18 dollars for two sandwiches and one orange juice and to top it off they had no cheese salt pepper nothing on them and the egg was so thin it was practically non existent.
