The food was good, and came out fast. Would have given it more stars, but staff was not friendly, and almost made you feel uncomfortable. Don't bother saying 'thank you" when they bring things to the table because you won't get a reply, just walks away. Also, when paying I asked if they give a military discount. She said yes, and asked me to show ID. I did show her. When she gave me the credit card slip to sign, it had the full price with no discount. It certainly feels like the servers and cooks must have drawn the short straw in where they would work. They have absolutely no expression. I've eaten here at least 3 times this year. Every time, it feels like I've walked into a family squabble. They act like they are angry at the world. It affects everything about the experience. The food is okay - and the prices are decent. I've had mediocre food in other places, with the absolute best service ,and not mind bland.

Very authentic Japaneese food with a great variety on the menu and clean floors and tables. The staff came around a little more often than I prefer, probably 8 or so times during the meal, so I felt somewhat rushed. They were kind, and I think they genuinely wanted to be of assistance, but it interrupted our light conversation by constantly having to answer. It was a good casual place for kids and adults.
