If I could give this Chinese take out and eat in restaurant 10 stars, I would!
PURE EXCELLENCE! and honestly I donāt just say it for the food. What makes this restaurant so unique is who they are as individuals, the plus is the excellent food.
While the food is flavorful, you can also tell by one bite how clean and fresh it is. On several occasions our family has ordered Sesame Chicken which had a perfect crunch but not overly crispy, Seafood delight a light, healthy and fresh entree that went great with their white rice, their crab Rangoon is flavorful, the chicken wings are perfectly spiced and fried in clean oil, beef with broccoli, boneless spare ribs and pepper steak, ALL completely on point and irresistible. Overall excellence!
Another perk to this location is that they offer Lunch Specials 7 DAYS A WEEK for $6.35 which also includes a free soda.
This is a family owned and run business, you can tell right away when you walk in, youāll see the grandmother walking around and at times even praying in a traditional way. Sheāll occasionally look over at the customers and give the kindest smile.
Their kids come after school and sit at one of the tables to do homework or play, and eat food with their family. It a something most of us donāt have the opportunity to experience yet witness anymore.
The staff are so friendly and attentive! DONT MISS...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm 2 weeks new to this area and didn't have it in me to cook on this particular night. My husband and I discovered this place by mistake while attempting to locate the nearest Walmart. Having had a tonsillectomy 3 weeks ago at the ripe old age of 47, I needed something on the sweeter side due to temporary laryngeal nerve damage which causes everything to taste bitter. And you'd never know by my 110 lb frame that I LOVE all food and LOVE to eat! When we walked in this place there was a family friendly feeling right away. A little girl practicing her ballet, an older woman sweeping the floor (which was so clean I could eat off of it) and a young man behind the counter eager to place our order. He very kindly guided me to a dish that he guaranteed I would enjoy after learning of my special request. He was right š. It was perfect. Very sweet chicken dish with onions and green peppers called Burbon (bourbon?). Hot and sour soup was tasty but spiciest we've ever had. Egg drop soup nice and flavorful, rich. My husband is picky about his egg rolls but loved these. We all crave that cop out Chinese takeout meal from time to time. I'd like to think they're all the same and no matter where you choose to stop on the way home will be good. But that's just not the case. So try China Express and make it your regular stop for a meal out. You won't be disappointed. See...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame in and placed order : Small veg. chow mein large pork lo- mein . 1 egg roll small hot and sour soup Wait time 20 mins - Cost $27.50 1st thing I tried when I got home was the chow mein . Very small portion for almost 7 dollars. Tasted a little on the salty side. Next , tried the lo- mein . VERY salty and noodles were way overcooked , almost on the soggy side . The egg roll was OK. not the best , but OK. The hot/ sour soup was a mess . It was laden with a lot of tofu and looked as if they just added leftovers of what have you. It was also oily to taste . By the way , for all the food I ordered, they only gave me a half pint of white rice .. A half pint . Bottom line , Overpriced, overcooked, ...
