The Fiddlehead Diner — Restaurant in Galax

Don't waste your time because they don't mind wasting yours. Our family of four adults went inside to dine. We had to fit four of us at a table positioned against the wall which would only seat three comfortably. We waited 20 minutes for a waitress to come to our table. She walked up with no menus and said, " Your wait time after ordering will be one hour". We got up and left the diner, choosing to dine at a nicer Mexican restaurant in Galax. The Fiddlehead Diner is a hole in the wall with staff that ignores the presence of paying customers. It looks like a dive inside and has a very cold atmosphere with staff just as cold. Go to Aunt Bea's Restaurant in Galax if you want home cooking. If you want to add some spice to life,...

First of all its not the Fiddlehead Diner I once knew. The Diner has changed hands and menu's... I didn't know before heading over of the changes, no longer country style food and desserts. It is now sandwiches, pizza, calzones etc. and NY style cheese cake for dessert. Even though it wasn't what we were expecting the food (4 cheese with bacon pizza) was great and the white staff attentive. The Only drawback was the AC was lacking, may have been a mechanical issue but it was very warm inside. We will be back in the future I'm sure for another of...

I got the breakfast with bacon, biscuits and gravy, and eggs. it’s was putrid. the bacon was OLD. it had the texture of jerky. the sausage didn’t even taste like meat. the biscuit and gravy was decent, but really bland. i’m beyond disappointed cause everyone else liked their food. it shouldn’t be legal to sell food that burt, old, and basically inedible. i’m hoping I don’t get...
