Mi Cerrito is a hidden gem when it comes to authentic Mexican cuisine. From the moment you step into the restaurant, you are greeted with warm hospitality, a cozy ambience, and beautifully done artwork that adorns the walls.
The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, each prepared with care and attention to detail. One dish that truly stood out was the enchiladas suizas. The tender chicken was perfectly seasoned and wrapped in a soft tortilla, topped with a creamy and flavorful green sauce. The combination of flavors was simply divine, and the portion size was generous.
Another highlight was the carne asada tacos. The grilled chicken was incredibly juicy and packed with smoky flavors. Each bite was a delightful explosion of taste, especially when paired with the fresh toppings and homemade salsa. The tortillas were handmade and added an authentic touch to the dish.
One thing worth mentioning is the impressive drink menu. The margaritas at Mi Cerrito are a must-try. They are expertly crafted, striking the right balance between sweetness and tanginess. Sipping on a margarita while enjoying the flavorful dishes elevated the overall dining experience.
The artwork throughout the building was beautifully done, adding an artistic touch to the dining experience. It created a visually pleasing atmosphere that enhanced the enjoyment of the meal.

Read moreTIRED OF BEING CHARGED EXTRA!! First I need to say I am surprised at the difference between the two restaurants both in quality and amount of food you get, first time we ate was at the Crestline location and we wasn’t that impressed honestly . For Valentine Day we went to Galion a quick lunch and decided to try this spot out and I was pleased with almost everything , food was on point and there was plenty that got taken home for that midnight snack but what really eerks me is something that they all seem to do now and it’s why I very rarely go to Mexican restaurants. I ordered the same thing every place and that is the fajitas in whatever combo they have . Todays it was steak, chicken and shrimp and I was happy to see I had gotten more then they served me at the first restaurant but whe they give you 3 lil soft taco tortillas and not a standard fajita tortillas and then when ya ask for a couple more because you just ate 1/4 of what’s on ur plate as street tacos they wanna jack ya for 3 extra tortillas. What is served would fit on 3-4 tortillas that are for fajitas but to purposely give out the smaller tortillas for a fajita is just greedy. The only spot I ever had the right size tortillas with my fajitas was at margaritavile in Sandusky and they gave ya 5 and if ya needed more ya got them without a couple bucks being added to ur bill !!! The place is good but stop with the games !!! I paid 19 bucks for my dinner and would have been charged more if I hadn’t just said I’ll eat the...
Read more11/2023 Our 1st visit here, and glad we went! Very well done in every aspect. From outside, the restaurant doesn't look as big as it seems inside. Beautifully decorated throughout with a comfortable environment. All of the staff were friendly and professional, willing to help each other too. Their appearance was very neat and well kept, appropriate for food-handlers. Some Mexican restaurants you end up with staff that are difficult to communicate with. But that was not at all the case here. Very good service. The food was delicious and served in decent time at the correct temperature. I had a steak burrito California which was very good. Generous portions. They offer a nice variety on the menu. I look forward to going back to explore the various choices again soon. Thanks to the great MiCerrito Galion staff for the nice dining experience. I hope your new location is a great success. I didn't find this location on Facebook yet. Took a bit for news of this new restaurant to reach the far southwest side of...
