Burger Hut — Restaurant in Gallitzin Township

Automatic -2 stars for only taking cash. The last place that hasn't switched to accepting cards apparently. I'm sort of joking, as there are shamefully few others, but it's frustrating that as someone who never uses cash, I need to go to an ATM and withdraw just to patronize this place over a bigger competitor like the Meadows or Dairy Queen.

I can only speak for the icecream, and that is quite good. They offer most fare you can find at DQ or other ice cream shops ('Tornados' for example are their answer to DQ Blizzards). They also offer a lot of food though I haven't tried it. Burgers, fries, various...

This used to be the place to be up on the buckhorn and its still ok but just..I miss the mini gold ans arcade machines... The "super burgers"... just don't cut it anymore. Dry...unseasoned patties and rolls that also taste dried out like they are kept in the freezer.....but tried their cheesteak and it was 8" and actually really good. Tornadoes weren't the greatest.. gave all 3 of ours with an over flow of melted ice cream, a big mess all over the cup- seem irritated with us when we asked for a few extra napkins.. just a big teen hang out with the workers.. disappointing.. not like it use to be.. 3 tornadoes, baby and a small cup of ice cream was 22.00.. to me, that just seems to much.. so will go...
