I don’t even know where to begin. This tiny, hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a life-changing experience. From the moment we walked in, the tantalizing aroma of sizzling woks and rich spices wrapped around us like a warm embrace. The décor? Modest. The ambiance? Unpretentious. But the food? Absolute PERFECTION.
Let’s talk about the General Tso’s Chicken—a dish so beautifully crispy, so gloriously coated in a sticky, sweet-yet-tangy sauce, it felt like the universe itself had conspired to create the perfect bite. Every morsel crackled with flavor, a symphony of heat, sweetness, and umami that sent shivers down my spine.
Then came the cheese wontons. These weren’t just appetizers. They were golden, crispy parcels of pure joy, filled with the most lusciously creamy, slightly sweet, perfectly balanced filling. One bite, and I nearly wept.
And the noodles—oh, the NOODLES. Silky, rich, and infused with the smoky kiss of the wok, they slithered onto our chopsticks like strands of culinary gold. Every bite was a masterclass in texture and flavor, an ode to tradition and technique.
But then—just when I thought the meal couldn’t get any better—I took a sip of their homemade iced tea. My soul ascended. This wasn’t just a drink; it was liquid ambrosia. Perfectly brewed, delicately sweet, and impossibly refreshing, it tasted like a summer breeze, a childhood memory, and pure bliss all at once. If they bottled it, I’d buy a lifetime supply.
I would travel miles, cross rivers, and climb mountains for another meal here. This isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a revelation. Do yourself a favor—go, eat, and prepare to have your taste buds...
Read moreJiang's Chinese food is some of the BEST I've ever had. Although, I've been ordering from them for 3 years now and I've never experienced such terrible customer service from them like I did the other day over the phone. I was yelled at, called "crazy" and experienced aggression from the women over the phone - all from a minor communication issue. She was completely out of control & disrespectful. And I looked at some of the other negative reviews, this seems to be a pattern with the female employee at the counter answering the phone. Not good. It was out of character for this place. I hope Jiang's reads this - because that women (I believe it's the owner) will single handedly ruin the business over time if someone doesn't correct her. All in all, the customer service over the phone needs to be improved on or I will be taking my business...
Read moreI'm perplexed how this place could have such favorable reviews. Stopped by for dinner on the spot. I'm not even sure how this place can be called a restaurant. Sure, there are tables, but cutlery is plastic (I'm European so this pisses me of, because no where in Europe you will get this but I guess it's common in America), and the only drinks you can get are in plastic bottles. We waited for over 45min because the majority of orders came for take-out and we were just sitting there. We had Wonton Soup (non-edible! wierd taste), Lobster Lo Mein (Lobster is a giant overstatment for what the shrimp in these noodles look like) which also had a wierd taste, and some vegetable stir fry with tofu which was decent but nothing special. I would definitely not recomend this place, but Americans you suit yourself what...
