These employees need a lesson or two on how to speak to customers, especially customers who kindly request something and aren’t rude. I had gone to the wendys the night before and had gotten a sprite that just tasted like carbonated water. I had already gone home and it was late so I didn’t have any plans of trying to exchange it and left it in the fridge. The next night my sister wanted some wendys so I took her and I decided to ask if they can make my drink again since I’m already heading that way. So I brought the drink to show them in case they think I’m making it up or something. I simply explained to the cashier and asked her if they could make me another one. The black girl with long brown and blonde braids and glasses looked at me like it was the most horrible thing in the world for her to be asked that, something she gets paid for instead of just standing there like she was when we arrived inside. She verbatim said “you came back for a drink you got yesterday”. It’s almost as if she didn’t see the human being (my sister) next to me holding the bag of food we just ordered and I had tell her “we just got food, that’s why I was here”. Either way, that’s not how ANY employee should be treating a customer. There was no “sure no problem” or “I’m sorry about that” or even “can you show us your receipt”. She gave me the drink (which I tried after and it was obviously actually sprite this time as opposed to just the gross carbonated water). There was not a single kindness or emotion from her. I don’t expect employees to be smiling all day long or be fake, just be a normal human being with decency which this girl clearly seems to be missing. Just like she’s there to get money to live and eat, so are the rest of us, our hard earned money has a value and kindly asking for another drink I PAID FOR isn’t going to come crashing her entire world. Especially someone who was clearly in no busy period of the work day, who was literally just standing there and WHO IS THERE TO DO A JOB. If you want to not work, then do that. If you haven’t developed manners and skills, then I suggest you find another job that doesn’t require that. We all had customer service jobs before and somehow we were able to be nice to our customers. Once she gave my drink I just said thank you and left, but I will definitely be...
Read moreThis is a new Wendy’s location that opened shortly after the location in hammonton closed. This location is definitely a major change and upgrade from the nostalgic style Wendy’s that hammonton had. This restaurant has a smaller dining area than most. It is set up in a style that focuses on their mobile order customers and drive thru customers. The restaurant was very clean, I was promptly helped by the employee up front it says her name is Nina. I took some time to observe the restaurant and it is set up unlike any Wendy’s I have been in. The food was good. My fries were warm not super hot and definitely looked like they were nearing the end of their life but were still good. My wrap was good it could have been wrapped better as to keep the contents inside and the tortilla itself could’ve been a little warmer but I enjoyed it. Overall this location is doing a great job. I definitely would recommend this location to everyone I know but wouldn’t suggest having a whole lot of people come inside with me as it’s a small lobby and is made smaller by them having chairs up on some of the tables. After enjoying my meal I stopped in the restroom that...
Read moreI ordered wendy's at 12 midnight, but when my ubereats driver arrived at 12:30 they were already closed. According to my ubereats driver, this Wendy's is known for closing earlier than its appointed time. They basically sat on their butts and collected a free check for practically doing nothing when they closed almost two hours before they were supposed to. To me, this is just lazy and unprofessional. When I called, they were rude and even left the phone ringing for over a couple minutes hoping I would just leave. This is another thing I don't understand. If you're doing nothing then at least answer the phone. Like they were literally doing nothing. The one guy who answered was rude. and while I admit I also said some insults, it was because he started saying that I was broke and I should go to bed hungry. He also claimed that he had more motion than my entire family, and when I started laughing at that he seemed to take it personally. In all honesty I'm just mad because of the principle of it not even thoe food. The three workers who answered the phones and bashed me from Monday into Tuesday (11/11 to 11/12)closing shift...
