Frio Loco | Shaved Ice, Sandwiches, Coffee... — Restaurant in Galveston

Frio Loco is in my opinion THE BEST food truck in Port Bolivar. The owners serve amazing shaved ice, and are very kind to me, and my son, and everyone I've ever seen there. I recommend it to all of my AirBnB customers. There is no way you can visit Crystal Beach and not visit Frio Loco. They have great sandwiches as well, and some coffee items on the menu.

If I could kidnap people and bring them in to try it, I would, but that's unfortunately against the law. The only thing that could make it better is if the owners applied for a Liquor License and started putting Bacardi in their snow cones. I haven’t had the chance to eat all day so I stopped here for a late lunch. Their deli sandwiches are delicious and were super filling! Also, I decided to get the mango smoothie and was shocked on how great it was! Much needed after working in the hot sun for so many hours. Definitely a MUST VISIT!! I absolutely LOVE the shaved ices. They are bursting with flavor and have a melt in your mouth texture, that never disappoints. My personal favorite is the Silver Fox.
