Had an otherwise great night spoiled by one of the nastiest waitresses I’ve ever come across. Nikki could not have been more rude to our table tonight and I can only imagine how many vacations and family dinners she’s spoiled due to her nasty attitude.

She refused to admit that she made a mistake with a drink order. What a weird thing to do, she brought a Diet Coke and I ordered a Dr Pepper. At the end of the day it was no big deal, I like both. She said I know that’s a Dr Pepper and multiple people at my table sensed her attitude towards me and drank the drink and said no mam it’s Diet Coke.

She didn’t like that and decided to start acting crazy. She then proceeded to take our order and told me and the rest of the table that she wouldn’t redo my drink order. Again a weird thing to make a big deal over but no big deal I do like Diet Coke.

She then came back by the table and I asked her if she took my son’s order who mentioned he didn’t get to order. She said which one, then she I pointed to him she said yes. I asked ok thanks. Can you tell me what he ordered. She looked and said I don’t have an order from him, so I just said it’s ok mam can you just bring him a Bolivar Boil.

She insisted again that she didn’t make a mistake but claimed she took his order and then admitted she didn’t have an order for him. We had several kids at the table so I didn’t want to make a big deal over it and just wanted to move on since I was embarrassed that I had recommended this place to both families that we were with.

When my wife asks her why she keeps trying to argue with us, rather than admit it’s a busy night and she obviously overlooked some things. She said she would throw my wife out of the restaurant because she was obviously overserved. Which couldn’t have been further from the truth.

I tried to de escalate by saying mam, can we just reset things since we have kids at the table and the way she is talking to us is causing a scene, she stared my wife down and said I will call the cops.

My wife excused herself to the bathroom because she was embarrassed by the way Nikki was treating her in front of our guests and believe it or not, Nikki the classless waitress followed my wife into the bathroom and stood by the door until my wife got out of the stall to stare her down.

By this point my wife came back to the table fuming mad for the interaction in the restroom and asked me to ask for a manager. Thankfully the management quickly addressed our situation and apologized. Another waiter/manager took over our table and he couldn’t have been nicer and more apologetic.

The food was good, the service other than from Nikki was good as well. I will definitely come back despite the weird experience with this...

Very disappointed in the “ignorance “ of the management, I have a phobia of drinking out of cups other than my own. Every where I go I bring my own “empty cup” when I walked in the hostess immediately said you can’t bring your cup in to the restaurant. I explained the situation to her and she said “I need to go get my manager.” Upon her return with him, he also stated I could not bring my empty Cup to drink out of. When I asked him why he said it was against TABC rules. He informed me that they had a law against it. He stated that the restaurant themselves did not have an issue with patron to bring in their own cups in, and they would be glad to let me bring it in if it were not for the TABC law. I opened up my phone, went to the TBC webpage and had him read from their site where it says that TABC has no law against bringing a cup into a bar or restaurant. He then looked at me and said well it’s against our policy. I said “two minutes ago you said the restaurant did not have a policy against patrons bringing in their owns cups, but you had to abide by the tabc rules. Now that I have brought your ignorance to your attention you decided to change your policy and discriminate against someone with a disability. If you do not have the intelligence and knowledge of business law and practices your should perhaps become a buss BOY instead. I know it sucks that a potential customer embarrassed you in front of your staff and you turned and ran off instead of being a man and admitting you were wrong. After leaving, we went to Tia Juanita’s, I walked right in with my cup in my hand and when I placed my drink order the waitress asked if I would like for her to put it in my glass? Now that is customer service and of course I left her a $100 tip. People that know how to treat people get treated well in return, not...

Our family was told it would be a one hour wait which was fine it was about 5pm or just after. We checked in after more than an hour and told we had people in front of us still and that was still fine, we understood...We then waited another hour and a half. We were finally called after a 2 1/2 hour wait, so we made our way up the long stairs to the restaurants seating area with our mother that has a difficult time with steps and were told they weren't ready for us. We would have to go back down and wait again. When we were seated our waitress was kind, everyone including the kids enjoyed her to be honest. The food was mediocre at best though. This is a tourist trap, they are one of the only dining places in the area and they were understaffed, Ill prepared and customer service was poor. Just tell us you are backed up and it may be an hour, maybe 2, maybe even 2 1/2. We could at least make a decision that doesn't take up our vacation time for food that wasn't worth the price nor wait time. OR we might return on a less busy night of our vacation and maybe have enjoyed it, besides the over priced "OK" food, ya just can't skip around that. The scenery is nice and they have a back patio area that could be nice but some real work on the over all quality of dining, customer service and THE FOOD. If your food is worth it, so is maybe a little inconvenience IMO, but this was not at...
