Great pizza good food. Local favorite. A pleasant surprise to find in the Ozarks! A bit dated but still quaint. Walked in too this lovely little hole in the wall and was greeted by a very enthusiastic employee. Very eager to describe the many options and Tantalizing ingredients. As I was drooling over the desserts in the case a very friendly gentleman came out and just was kind as can be; telling all about the wonderful bakery at Nima's and the delicious Cannoli that are prepared on certain mornings. He began telling the stories of the competitions that the pizzeria was involved in. When he stepped toward the kitchen o asked the girl at the counter who he was and she told me that he was the owner. Rick and Jane Mines are World, National and Regional Competitors and World Winners. Rick was very modest as he came back to chat some more. I told him I was a Yelper and he then showed me his YELP Awards. ( FYI: Rick and Jane Don't advertise because they are Already in HIGH Demand & they just can't make more pizzas without changing their ways!! ) We ordered a Meat Lovers Traditional crust pizza and cherry cheesecake. Rick quickly took our cheesecake to top off with more cherries. SWEET RIGHT?? We were going to have the pizza delivered but a table opened and we chose to wait the 15 minutes. The inside is very small/quaint with limited seating. But hey, who doesn't love takeout!!! The menu goes beyond pizza to pasta and sandwiches plus scones, cupcakes, brownies, cinnamon rolls, cheesecake, Cannoli and more. If you desire to order one of their Award Winning Pizzas, such as the Competitor or The Reuben, please allow at least a 4 hour advance call! A Masterpiece Takes TIME!!! Anyway, the pizza smelled so damn good I almost pulled over to snatch a piece but I instead drove responsibly. Lol. The Italian sausage, Canadian ham, pepperoni and other toppings sat proudly atop the cheese which covered this beautiful rich flavored sauce which was perfectly covering the soft crisp crust. The flavors danced happily on my mouth as they bounced across each tastebud. The Perfect amount of each freshly laid ingredient baked to the exact temperature to create a personal masterpiece that made my mouth happy. And it's worth every penny to boot!!! ( Reasonable Pennies!!)
Ok, onto Dessert!!! The cheesecake are individually made in large cupcake pans. Bake on a nice graham cracker crust. The cheesecake itself has a creamy smooth texture the melts in you mouth like an Irish butter. I had cherry cheesecake which added a sweet & tart topping that became the harmony to the melody ( YES, I'm speaking in Musical terms °•°•🎵 ) This cheesecake is not too heavy and not fluffy but rather the 3 layers of scrumptious merged quite well. And again my tastebuds danced, sang and my mouth was happier than my pizza filled tummy. All in all I found Nima's to be a beautiful Jewel that is perfectly hidden high in the Ozarks. Not one person that let tonight went without singing accolades to this fine establishment and to Rick & Jane Mines for taking such Pride in preparing one of the finest pizzas I've had the pleasure of tasting!! I respect a business owner that is so dedicated to keeping his business HIS way and won't be pressured into becoming a fast food palace. Pride, Dedication, Great food , Great Employee Spirit and Great Love continues in this Gassville Arkansas Pizzeria. Thank you Rick Mines for sharing your story. I am honored to have met you!!!
Highly Recommend but I Urge you not to try to force change but be patient and wait for your Pie like the rest of us!!...
Read moreWe finally made the little drive out to Gassville Saturday night, to try out this little pizza place that everyone’s been telling us about! We got there around 7:30pm & they were really busy with call ins & dine in also. They had us wait outside with some menus until there was a table for us..we didn’t mind. We waited about 15-20 min & then they called us in.. They had a total of 3-4 tables inside for dine in & we came with 7.5 people lol AND an hour and a half before closing time 🤦🏼♀️ They were busy with call ins the entire time we were there.. crazy busy 😜 I ordered a salad & plain wings with sauce on the side. Everyone else got pizza…The salad was SOOO good! The wings were good too but a few were a little dry... They didn’t have any ice for our drinks which was ok bc their sweet tea was reallly good so ice didn’t matter much😂 I’m not sure if that’s normal for them not to have ice or if they were just having issues… either way-not a big deal. I didn’t have to wait long at all for my wings but the rest of the fam did wait a good while on their pizza. My son fell asleep in the chairs waiting on his pizza lol… His pepperoni pizza came out last, a few minutes after 9 so we just had them box them up to go since they close at 9 & we didn’t want to keep them too late. They were friendly with everyone that came in to pick up their orders & they open each pizza..show it to the customer to make sure it’s right before they leave-which I thought was really neat. Everyone had a smile on their face & we really enjoyed the atmosphere. I believe it was the owner who came over to speak with us before we left, he was very nice & funny lol. He said as long as they are getting orders they will stay open (for call ins is what he meant I think. Bc that’s most of their business anyways. I thought that was pretty cool too) The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is bc the temperature in there was really warm & we were ALL sweating🥵 LOL. Also, not having ice for the drinks. Other than that we didn’t mind the wait bc we knew they were busy. The food was great! The service was awesome! The people were my kinda people. Happy customers🙋🏼♀️ We’ll def be going back soon. We will probably just call in our order too next time! I wish the dining area was bigger so we could bring the whole family lol. That would take away the whole small town cozy feel tho so maybe just add some tables outside around back or maybe a few in front…that might be a good idea!?! FYI: The SMALL cheesy bread order was HUGE lol.. Next time we’ll know to...

I’m from the St. Louis area and let me just say, this is hands down the BEST pizza I’ve ever had.
From the moment we walked into Nima’s Pizza and More, we were met with the kind of warmth and hospitality that’s hard to come by these days. The owner personally welcomed us in and made us feel right at home, like we were family walking into their kitchen. We were early to pick up our order by about 15 minutes, but the wonderful woman behind the counter offered us drinks to enjoy while we waited even though it was just a few moments until the pizza was done. While we waited on our order, we chatted, laughed, and just soaked in the laid-back, cozy vibe of the place. It felt more like a home than a restaurant—and I mean that in the best way possible.
Now let’s talk about the pizza. We ordered the Supreme and Pepperoni pizza and let me tell you: it was out-of-this-world good. The crust was perfectly crisped, the cheese melted just right, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. The real shocker? My dad and my boyfriend—two lifelong mushroom-haters—took one bite and couldn’t stop eating. They LOVED it. That’s how you know it’s special. This place is a true hidden gem. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make it a point to stop here. Nima’s isn’t just a pizza place—it’s a whole experience. We’ll definitely be back, and next time we’re bringing more friends to share in the deliciousness. Thank you Nima’s...
