Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Gassville

WON'T GO BACK! I went pulled up to order menu at drive thru just after 8pm on 05/09/20. 4th vehicle in line in front of me just finishing ordering and pulled forward leaving me just enough room to pull up to intercom. I was almost immediately greeted with "What can I get for you?" "Give me just a minute to decide." "Let me know when ready." I quickly decided and said "Read when you are." I then watched car #1 pull away and anticipated the voice returning to ask for my order. I waited in silence and about 30 second later car #2 left the pickup window, so I said, ""I'm ready." Again I waited in silence, wondering if maybe the headset battery had died. so I waited patiently thinking the voice would return soon. About a minute later and car #3 pulled away from pickup window. "Hello, I'm ready to order." Again, met with complete silence. Another 30 seconds and car #4 left pickup window and now the drive thru lane ahead of me is completely clear and I just knew the voice would return to take my order now. 30 seconds. "Hello?" Silence. I kept watch behind me, no one else had pulled in, it's roughly 8:12 and I'm wondering if they close at 8 and I somehow misheard him originally, maybe they cutoff ordering to close? I watched the pickup window in case someone stuck head out to motion me to pull up in case headset failed. Nothing, just silence. I'm almost 5 minutes into my wait at the intercom since hearing the initial request to take my order and I decide to pull up to the pickup window to place an order there. I see 2-3 employees moving about through the window, no one sees me yet, then I se in my rear view someone pull up to the intercom and I think, prepare to wait buddy, this place is not taking orders swiftly. Then a guy steps up to the order intercom and asks what he can get them. I honk and yell, "HEY!" The guy turns to window and comes over and opens it. "I just waited at the order intercom for about 5 minutes for someone to take my order, watched 4 cars have food presented through this window and leave, so I pulled up here in case intercom was having issues." "We're really busy right now!" "Thanks, I'll go to McDonald's", and I pulled away irritated at the very poor excuse. So, apparently this place can't function during a busy period. Most fast food places serve a customer then take another order, this restaurant falls apart once 4 orders fill the drive thru. Zero apology for the failure, just a poor excuse they are busy, too busy to function like a normal drive thru. Won't be stopping and giving them my business...

Arrived at 3:41 with no more than two cars there I then placed my order which was literally two drinks and about 20 minutes later I have yet to get my drinks. I checked my receipts and it was the right location and everything. Went and pressed the middle button they came out and brought a drink that wasn’t mine. I showed her my receipt on my app and she said they didn’t have it. she walked away and didn’t fix the problem about two minutes later she brings out 30 drinks to the car next to me at that point i had been there 40 minutes. I called her over again showed her my banking account that it was taken out of my account and she said she didn’t know what to do about it and if i wanted she would bring a manager. To which she did not, when i finally got my drink it was a different person and this was the most disgusting drink i had ever had. I was genuinely scared to drink it, i got a coke with cherry vanilla and sweet cream, same thing i literally always get. I have worked in the food industry before and I see this behavior as unacceptable i am typically a very nice person but these workers need to learn how to handle issues or actually get me a manager...

I ordered 2 medium waters with no ice and a large cup of ice we were told that they could not sell us the large cup of ice. No explanations. I went to talk to the manager about this because I felt like the person taking my order was being snotty. I didn't get to speak to the manager because I was told that they were extremely busy and he couldn't come talk to me at that moment. So I told the waitress what was going on and I also explained to her that I was fixing to go mow your yard I was hoping to have some of their ice just even a medium cup. She told me that she would see what they could do. I went back to my vehicle, and waited for another 25 minutes for my two medium Waters with no ice. The vehicle next to me pulled in about 10 minutes after I was there I had place my order was then getting their order and then consisted of what looks like hamburgers and fries and several drinks. I waited another 10 minutes for my order and it never came. Completely...
