Taylor's Freez King — Restaurant in Gassville

9/3/23 Had to read some reviews before I took the time to leave my own. I clearly don't understand how you have a 4.5 star rating. Maybe it was a off team day and we got the fourth string, I don't know. We ordered our food and drinks and sat down and waited, and waited, and waited and waited. after a hour we started asking questions as to what's up. The very unresponsive skinny blonde girl replied, soon and then we waited some more. After another 10 minutes goes by, I went to the counter and asked the pregnant cashier what was up and where is our food? She starts looking around and asking the kids who were preparing food and they replied, they remember seeing the order but they don't know where the ticket is. At that point I said never mind I would like a refund, we are not hanging around anymore. She refunded my money, gave us some dole whips and we left. I was out, our time and a $6 tip that I regretted giving in advance. Once upon a time, I frequently came here and all was well. A little advice to the owner is, I understand that good help is hard to find these days with a very limited pool of qualified people to choose from. Especially, when your working with children who don't have any manors or the skills to act professional. We have our schools and some parents to thank for that. Take a look at all the closed food service businesses on the side of the road and think, you may soon follow them. We won't be back!! Good Luck!!

UPDATE...........Sometimes you just have it coming and it gets pretty obvious and this place has closed! Rumor has it the original owner might be getting this place back in action. ???? To the owner, reach out to me....

I would give this place 5 stars but I really couldn't get on board with their ordering system. The food was fresh crispy and season pretty good. A lot of American and a lot of good choices but their menu makes it really difficult to order. It's definitely a family like diner with a child in the front of the cooking area at times. It is divided into two parts the front dining area is in front of the cash register and then there's A back section. Nothing seemed to overcooked or under done. I loved their it was a very good side salad. Pretty impressed I wasn't expecting too much out of them honestly. After I walked in I figured could be let down but it's a really good hometown.the only advice I would give the owner is to change their menu and perhaps get a little bit more collected as a team. The girl who was working the register was not organized at all she struggled to know what everything on the menu was she might have been new. I don't know if I would say the food is cheap but it's not too outrageously. It's family-friendly definitely and lots of good options. The only reason I gave it a two because the person that received my order in drive thru very professional and walked me through the order. The food ordered was chicken strips with mash taters ,salad and two slices of bread.The second order was a Philly cheese steak sandwich with crinkle cut fired. Okay let's start with chicken strips they were stringy the breading was soft not Crunch very bland like no seasoning added. Let's go to the mash potatoes no favor tasted old when I called and compliance the cook said they were freshly made yesterday go figure.Didnt try the salad went on to the Philly cheese steak no favor no onions or peppers,the meat was dry and rough and served on a hotdog buns 😲. My fries wasn't cooked long enough and don't think the dryer grease wasn't changed for a long time. My wife and I wasn't impressed. The manger did give me my money back thanks. Don't recommend this place for people to eat here.
