This was our second time visiting here. The first time our waitress was amazing , the food was great, they let us substitute our hashbrowns for cottage cheese with out hesitation. So today we decided to stop there again. We live in Sterling heights so its quite a hike. Anyways so this time we had a different waitress. She seemed very scattered brained. She wouldnt allow us to substitute. Instead of letting us pay an additional cost to add mushrooms to an omlette she insisted we buy a custom made omlette which was more expensive. Then I made it clear, I wanted the exact same order as my friend. When she brought my friend her cottage cheese, my friend told her I ordered cottage cheese too. She apologized brought it. Then when she brought my friend her chilli, my friend had to tell her again we had the same order. She huffed and was like Im gonna have to change your bill because I did not know you wanted the same order. Never brought my friend their sour cream she ordered. We never got our to go cups. I tried to take into consideration our waitress was pregnant but that might slow u down. But the rest was unecessary. They werent even busy. Over all We were really disappointed. Still tipped her tho because thats who we are. I may or may not visit again. The first visit was awesome our waitress was so friendly made us feel at home and then we had todays experience. I will say that the food was good but the girls said their pop...

Great except the last few times I ordered the chocolate Mickey Mouse pancakes which is my sons favorite dish, they either had no chocolates or they stopped putting them in the pancakes. Not sure I forgot to ask but was a little upset. Also need to make sure next time I get my order right before leaving I had possibly misunderstood the person taking my order on the phone but I said I wanted the chocolate Mickey Mouse pancakes an a side of sausage links. When I picked food up we got the pancakes I was looking for the sausage links to find they thought I wanted the Mickey pancakes with I wanna say it was only one sausage cut up into pieces to make a smiley face??? I did not call them to complain seems it was midnight I figured next time I will be more clear an also make sure they tell me my order again. I am pretty sure I asked for the pancakes a. A side of sausage links I have never got my order with one sausage cut up my son was upset seems how he can eat at least 3 I have 2 sons an the other one wanted them the most an was just upset an hungry still thinking we were getting a whole order...

Please do not eat here, it is not clean the wait staff do not wash their hands ever. The person that was handling the food today, forgot to wash their hands after wiping down tables with bleach, and my son’s pancakes tasted like straight bleach. Mind you that was my second time they’re already today because they didn’t get it right the first time. Also, to whom ever made those strawberry shortcake, you should really be ashamed of yourself because I’m sure my two year old could’ve done better job. Everything was sloppy and honestly we couldn’t even eat it. I should’ve known when the waitress handed me the bag out of the window because all you could smell was BLEACH. So to the uneducated, unsanitary staff member of this ratchet establishment that made my kids food. You want to be ashamed of yourself and you really shouldn’t be working Anywhere around food. Honestly this poor excuse for a restaurant is lucky that my son is not allergic to bleach, but I will be contacting whoever I need to contact because now I’m taking my child to urgent care because some careless worker decided to not use...

I came back from picking up my Uncle from the bus stop and we were looking for some good food to eat. Everything was closed at 10:30pm at night and there we come across Gillies Coney Island. We were saved from our hungry bellies. They had an aray of food to try. We ordered the club sandwich, steak sandwiches, coney dogs, and a fish meal. Food was beautiful and nicely presented. With my fish meal I ordered hashbrowns, those could have been a little better down and fish could've had more seasoning. Overall it was a lovely late night meal. My family and I enjoyed all the food that we got from this placed and loved the fact that they are open late for takeout.

Well it was about 1:30 am when I ordered my food. Chicken tenders and fry’s. Was the only place open and I was starving. After waiting 30 minutes for my chicken tenders I received my food and took a bite of the tenders just to find out I would’ve been happier starving. The rubber like texture of the overcooked chicken. And the taste of frier oil that hasn’t been changed in so long it probably looks like hot rubber. The chicken was hot. Fry’s were cold. If you’re thinking about going here because nothings open, like me. I’d recommend starving. Or maybe a patch of grass from there front lawn. It might actually taste good by comparison.

4.1.24 @ 1pm - I dined in with two kids and another adult. I first ate here over 20 years ago! It's still open and serving delicious food with a smile today. We all had breakfast 4/1/24. I ordered steak and eggs, kids had pancakes, mother had french toast. There were lots of sides to share like hash browns, toast, eggs, and even biscuits (waitress was nice enough to throw in the biscuits). The food was so tasty. My steak was moist, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Everyone has compliments to the chef, waitress, cashier, and kind patrons as well. Great atmosphere. Money well spent plus they honor veterans. Thank you!
