Brass Lantern Restaurant — Restaurant in Genesee

Literally the worst dining experience I've ever had. We were seated almost immediately which is great, but also probably because we had a reservation. We ordered appetizers, soup, salad, and entrees. The salad bar was available right after we ordered, the soup came about 10 minutes later, then we waited an hour. We watched other tables order, eat, and leave before the food came. But even then, my entree came to the table, then a few minutes later our appetizer came, then another fifteen minutes for my wife's entree. That totals over an hour between ordering and being served, all while watching other tables actually dining. I understand that restaurants can get busy, but this place is reservation only, leaving them total control over their workload. Salad bar was very good but then it went downhill. While ordering we were informed that all the menu prices were incorrect and to add $2 to what we ordered. After about ordering about 15 minutes or so later we were informed that some of our order was not available and actually there was 6 menu items they were out of out of about 25 diners on the menu. At the end of the meal we were informed that they only accepted cash and checks. My wife responded that we wish we have known that in advance as we don't carry cash but luckily had a check. The owner overheard my wife and began to yell that everyone is told that when they make the reservations. When my wife said she was never told that she began screaming again to the point that when she finally walked away 2 other patrons came over and said that they will never go there again because of the owners rudeness.
