Awful! My girlfriend and a group of buddies went here after ice skating. We heard “it was great here” but after my first time here I will say this will be the the first and last. Don’t be fooled friends! Our server was at our table only 3 times our whole visit and there was a 25 minute gap in between rounds for our drinks. It was to where I forgot my buddies had ordered another round of beers. We were having a great time after ice skating but by the end our time at the restaurant, we were more exhausted from our service we just wanted to leave. Also, our “wonderful” server thought he could sign off and give himself a tip after most of us gave him next to nothing for his poor service. My girlfriend found out he had written himself a 10 dollar tip when in fact she drew a line to not give him anything because he didn’t even give her the right food from the beginning. I get it, it was Sunday, it’s busy and there s a lot going on. Had he been more attentive and respectful, I myself would have gave him a generous tip. However, you guys do what you like, here’s proof in the photos sent by Amy (management there) after trying to dispute it with my girlfriend. Also so you guys can see and be sure to put zeros all across if you have awful service as we did. But be weary, they might put a 1 in front of all those zeros! So put plenty of zeros to take up all the space! If you like the idea of being at a bar out of the Wild West where there’s crooks at your service, then go, because even terrible service and dishonesty deserve rewards too I guess. If it were me, I’ll hold off to a nearby McDonald’s. They have better service and probably get paid less. Update Jan 25: Spoke to owner and was very understanding and respectful. Willing to give a second chance and will update on next visit.

Our group was there on Saturday, June 7, 2024 from 6 pm to 11 pm to have dinner, drinks, and see 7th Heaven perform at 8:30. This was our first visit to this establishment as it is fairly new. We sat outside where the band was going to be playing at the fire table which seats 12. Since we were there early we were among the first there. We ordered drinks and then appetizers and I had a Mediterranean Salad with grilled chicken. Drinks came out quickly as well as the appetizers, sandwiches, and my salad. The ladies loved their drinks! My salad was so good, so fresh, and was a good size. Everyone enjoyed their apps and sandwiches. Service was exceptional. There is a bar on the patio that you could sit at. The patio also had couches. Lots of people stood up to watch the show once it started as there is alot of open floor in front of the stage. The crowd really seemed to enjoy themselves. All the food that I saw looked so good and presentation was on point. I definitely recommend stopping by and trying Rookies in Geneva. There is a baseball field where the Kane County Cougars play just north of here so you could catch a game and then eat at Rookies or vice versa. There was a game going on when we were there and quite a few folks came to Rookies after the game. Try them!

Cool little spot in the ice arena with plenty of tvs and seating for a lot of people. Can be a little hectic at times just by virtue of all the people coming and going for hockey games and the like, but otherwise a cool atmosphere with a window that allows you to see one of the rinks and whoever happens to be on them at that time. The food is typical bar food, but it's good bar food, in my humble opinion. My wife says the wings are better at the St. Charles location, but I find it hard to believe that they would do anything differently than the other spot. This picture is the Greek wings, which were pretty darn good. Very crispy and good flavor.

We visited during a Steel game which was a mistake. Super busy which is fine and understandable. I was asked to write down my name and phone number on a piece of paper so they could text me when a table was ready to sit 4. My family and I waited outside the doors and then the hostess gestured to us to come in. She tried to hand me the menus and told me that there were 4 seats available by the window if that was ok. I agreed and she handed the menus to my daughter and then the hostess said she would walk me to the window because I didn’t know where that was. Turns out the window is facing the ice arena. We waited for 15 mins and flagged down a waitress and was told she would get our server but if we don't get served she will take care of us. While we waited there was a customer asking to speak to the manager because of they were waiting for over 45 mins for their check. We got a server and we were able to order drinks and 2 apps. The food was very dry. We felt rushed to order because of how busy they were when the server dropped off the apps. The hockey game started and there were a bunch of people standing behind our chairs (actually hanging on them) while we were eating. One of our orders was incorrect and I wasn’t able to find ANY server at this point. When we were done I had to go to the bar and ask if I could pay my bill with them because we couldn’t find our server. I was told that I had to wait for her. That was another 15 mins and by this time they...
