Revelation Craft Brewing — Restaurant in Georgetown

My sister and I visited Revelation for the first time at their new location. It was pretty empty, but I’m not sure why. I had read their reviews before visiting and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they had improved on any negative ones. I strongly suggest Revelation for anyone visiting the lower Delaware area and looking for a pleasant experience.

They have the largest number of sours that I’ve seen on a menu and each was better than the last. I liked their stouts, too, and all of the beers were well tended and poured to perfection.

Their food menu was stellar. My sister had a big portion of wings and I had their Chicken Italiano. The portions were big and my only suggestion would be to add a veggie sandwich to the menu.

We had previously been to the Georgetown location and the service today was night and day. The first time we were treated like valued customer and really enjoyed our visit. Today (7/1/23) we entered the establishment and there was only one other couple there and the "2" servers behind the bar immediately asked what we wanted to drink. We said that we wanted a menu to determine that. They ignored us so we sat and got menus that were on other tables because they were too "busy" to get us menus. We had to get up again to discuss food choices because we had actually come to drink AND eat. They never moved from their spot so all 3 of us left with a VERY bad taste in our mouths. Went there with my wife and kids today. We ordered a couple of drinks inside. The waitress wanted a card for a tab. We gave her the card. (She was not nice). I went to the food truck to order lunch. After lunch was ready, I told the waitress that I need my card back for a minute to pay the food truck. Her response was “ok, but you need to bring the card right back!” Come to find out that the owners appear to be from Jersey! So does some of the wait staff and food truck.
