Ive giving this place way more chances than i should have! Eggs! should not be waited for! soon as a pan is empty a new one should appear! the girls they do a decent job of serving but please help out in the kitchen cause its apparent they need the help! the food is bland! no flavor what so ever! if this is "moms" recipe? yea, well that was it ill never step food in that place unless i need to use the bathroom! the restaurant guru gave this place best cafeteria?maybe it was for the decor? because it was not for the food i can assure you that! these locals must not know what flavorful food taste like because they keep coming there? the food looking good and tasting good are two entirely different things at this place, yes it looks good in the little pans but wow what a change as soon as you take a bite, i didnt know if i was eating hash brown casserole or over cheesed mac and cheese? hard to say something has to much cheese but the "hash brown casserole did! maybe it time to hang it up? yea that might be...

I LOVE this little southern gem! There is something here for everyone! You can get breakfast until noon and that is AWESOME! I went into this establishment wanting lunch but after viewing the menu decided on breakfast while my husband decided to get food from the "line". It was a Tuesday and he said that he couldn't decide because there was so much good food on the daily menu. There was mac and beef casserole, salmon patties, fried chicken, fresh greens, black-eyed peas, cole slaw, cabbage casserole, Brunswick stew and the list goes on and on. He finally settled with the salmon patties, black eyed peas, cole slaw and cornbread. I had the steak biscuit dipped with gravy and a side of tater tots (with a sample of the stew). I NEVER EVER, EVER liked Brunswick stew until I tried their version (I ended up buying a quart upon leaving). My kids both enjoyed silver dollar pancakes with chocolate chips. My office recently went on a work retreat to Helen. Crossroads Catering and their other business Across the Board (charcuterie boards) were recommended to us by another local business owner. Tammie and Kaitlin were so kind and warm. They wanted to make sure that we had a pleasant experience and plenty of food. We had them cater the entire weekend's meals which honestly was so easy and well organized. Our boss wanted an "enchanted picnic" and boy did they give us an awesome experience! Can't recommend this company enough!

Food Recommendations: Hashbrown Casserole (literally the best i've ever eaten) Charcuterie was exquisite! Sweet potato fries with marshmallow dip! Banana pudding was delish!
