We were passing through tonight when we decided to stop and have dinner. I would rate this Mexican restaurant as average. The food was average as was the service. We were not offered a refill on the chips and salsa. It didn't take long for our orders to arrive, but that was the last time we saw any wait staff until we were finished with our meal. All in all just OK. There is a charge to use a credit card. I think the up-charge was 3.5%. Large parking lot with plenty of room for anyone pulling a small trailer or a camper to turn around in.

I had the BEST Enchilada I've EVER had! Everything was delicious, served hot & the service was fast & server was pleasant. There was a nice buffet, but we all ordered from the menu. The restaurant was clean & they were busy!

Food was great! So good, that a buddy of mine clowned for literally cleaning my plate 🍽️! 10 out of 10, I recommend 👍🏿!

They don’t respect veterans or service dogs.. I would never go here.. I think everyone should boycott!!

Help get the word out! This is disgraceful

I am a Disabled Veteran. I have a Service dog named Buckeye to help me. My wife and I moved to Milan, Georgia on June 2nd of 2018. On June 6th we went out to eat at El Aquilla Mexican Restaurant in McRae, Georgia. We were met at the door by a young man who turned out to be the owner's son. He told us that they do not allow dogs. I showed him Buckeye's ID and told him he was ADA trained and certified. He handed me the ID back and said that they especially do NOT allow Service Dogs! I asked him if he knew about the Americans with Disabilities Act? He said he did and that they still Did NOT allow Service Dogs and we had to leave. He then bragged about kicking out a woman the week before with a Service Dog. The Hispanic employees were laughing. He escorted us out. We went to another restaurant in McRae. The owner there told us that El Aquilla had already kicked out 3 other Disabled Veterans with their Service Dogs. After we ate there, we went home and I filed an ADA complaint with the Department of Justice. The owner has continually said that they DO NOT allow Service Dogs!!! Last week the US Attorneys Office called them. The Owner went to an attorney's office. He was told to put up a sign in the office saying they accept Service Dogs, until it dies down a little. If you are ever in McRae, Georgia and want to picket a terrible Restaurant who hates United States Veterans and their Service Dogs, please feel free to do so at El Aquiila. We are suing both in Federal Court and in Civil Court!!!

I have never been so humiliated, embarrassed and traumatized in my life! And I had t fight the VA for 19 years for my disability!!! My PTSD has been in overload since that experience! I have contacted several News agencies around Macon. They have never responded. So this is probably the only time you will hear about this ordeal................... .......This was Posted on Facebook by my friend and fellow American Veteran, Ricky Rooks. Please Share on your Facebook Page so this message can get out, because evidently the liberal Democrat News Media just simply doesn't care. If you don't have a share button, do as I did and Copy and Paste. Thank You...

Food is ok but service is very bad! People go out to a restaurant because they want to do something different to get out of the routine specially on friday evening and the service and admosfere are very inportant They had music when we walked in and a few minutes later the "manager" (skinny guy)in charge turned it off we asked if there was no music and he said, No. Just like that!! our waitress brought our flautas just by them selves no lettuce, or sourcream on them and forget about the cheese and she never came back to check on us ! Next time I want flautas I'll just go a mile down the road to La Gloria mexican store better service at least they put lettuce, sourcream and...
