Mai Kai is the friendliest place to hang out and enjoy tasty, unique, custom beverages with your whole family. They introduced me and my husband to a drink from the leaf of an evergreen tree in the coffee family (mitragyna speciose or kratom) that would end up changing our lives. I can attest that in drinking kratom over the last three months, I have completely eliminated four “popularly prescribed” prescription medications used for anxiety and chronic pain, that were so bad for my body and well-being. I feel good, clear headed, even keeled and my pain is relieved, I am back to the person I was in my twenties. I firmly believe that this amazing Southeastern Asian herbal supplement (used in their traditional medicine) is the answer to the prayers of many. I am so thankful for the Mai Kai family for introducing me to this and many other excellent, healthful things. We love hanging out, visiting, playing games, studying and working at Mai Kai. Think of a happy place, where littles to our elders feel welcome, with comfy couches and chairs, and a “Cheers” ambiance, without the alcohol! ...

Coming from the “kava capital of the county” (St. Petersburg, FL), we were so excited to find this quaint, relaxing kava bar in the mountains.

Rita (the owner) is knowledgable, down to earth, and very welcoming. I appreciated the way she educated her customers on the product, which is so important in this industry as someone who also works at a kava bar in Largo, FL.

The products are AMAZING! The kratom tea, specialty kava were tasty and made to-order, and they offer CBD infused coffee and other teas/coffees as well.

We can’t wait to come back to Blairesville so we can relax in the huge, living room-esque atmosphere....

I am from the Clearwater area of Florida and was up vacationing with my girlfriend and some friends in Unicoi State Park and Mai Kai Kava Tea Living Room was just what we needed to find. The owners have extensive knowledge of kava and kratom and serve them up just how we like. Their hospitality and quality of both Kratom and kava are out of this world.
