Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Georgia

Since moving to Valdosta, we have ordered from Marco's about once a month since it's conveniently located and the Hawaiian pizza is great. However, I'm reassessing my enthusiasm. The past three times, my experience has been less than pleasurable. First, the current crop of employees is horrendous. Every time they are discourteous, curt, and sometimes just plain dismissive. I once stood at the counter nearly 8 minutes before anyone acknowledged my presence. Second, the worker are not taking COVID seriously. The young man who was boxing the pizzas last time didn't have his mask over most of his face and wasn't wearing gloves--as he touched pizzas. Third, I'm not sure if this is a new policy across the chain, but this restaurant has now started charging for parmesan and red pepper packets as well as garlic sauce. Nickel-and-diming your customers is not the path to loyal customers. We are going to look elsewhere in town for our pizza from now on, at least until the management whips this store...

I called to place an order and I was placed on hold... then when the lady did come back on the phone , in the middle of giving my order, I was hung up on. I called back and was placed on hold for 3 minutes. Hung up and called back AGAIN🙄 and when she did take my order she said it’ll be be 30 minutes. Got all the way there (bc they don’t deliver in my area) just to discover my wings were NOT well done as I requested so I had to sit and wait another 10-15 minutes just for them to get my order right. Then I paid for extra cheese for both of my pizzas but only got it on one! And the only reason I didn’t give them a harder time about the extra cheese is because I had extra people in the car with me & at this point we were ready to go! For 2 large pizzas, 10 wings and extra cheese it was $50!!!!! $50 and disappointed with the whole experience except the food. It was delicious but that’s besides...

Ordered the special with 2 medium pizzas, bread and a 2 liter. Added 2 extra marinara sauces to the order and selected garlic sauce for the bread. The sauce we got was 2 blue cheese sauces, that's it. Called and they refunded $1 something for the two sauces we paid for but the bread isnt something I want to eat without a sauce. Then noticed that none of the crust on the pizza had the garlic sauce crust that was ordered and the white sauce on one pizza is just cheese and bread as there is no sauce in between and is extremely dry. Rep at store said that it's a butter garlic sauce and that's how it's supposed to be. Over half the food was inedible and paid $33 for 1 medium 2 topping pizza and a 2 liter soda as that was essentially the only edible food with what was delivered. I do not recommend the white pizza if that is actually how its supposed to be,...
