This would have been a much better review, until the last interaction with an employee who identified themselves as Tia E. (I am not posting their full last name they provided), but I could not see a name tag confirming that. Arrived at this McDonalds location, and the lobby was closed at 8:50 PM, though there were house listed as open until 11:00 PM. I shrugged this off and we went through the drive through. The drive through clerk taking orders was very cheerful, and quickly took our order. After paying and receiving our order, it was unfortunately incorrect. I drove around and parked, and I knocked on the door. An employee came to the door with our correct order and apologized. I asked why the dining room was closed when the posted hours for the dining room were listed as until 11:00 PM, and Tia responded "Because it's 9". I pointed out that listed hours were until 11:00 PM, and there was no other posted information about early closing on today. Tia responded that they close the dining room at 9 on some days. I asked why there wasn't anything posted to let customers know, and Tia replied, "It doesn't matter" with a very rude attitude. I asked for a corporate or managerial information, and Tia said she didn't have that. I then asked for her name, which she provided. The lack of care that a customer had a question was concerning. There was another employee that witnessed the interaction, who actually did try to provide context for the earlier closing of the dining room and was more understanding of my complaint. The entire experience, an accident with the order, the dining room being closed, everything would have been perfectly acceptable, if not for the apathetic, disinterested, and rude response from the employee that identified themselves as Tia. Of note, as I was leaving more cars were parking and others were coming to the door for similar...
Read moreI went through the drive-through with my two children after work. One to whom is autistic , as I try to place an order no one came on the speaker so after about 10 minutes I proceeded to the window It’s fine to employees standing there talking not doing their job. Fine no big deal I go to place my order at the window I proceed to tell the gentleman that my daughter is autistic and he starts laughing at her. Wasn’t sure if he was laughing at what I said so again I repeated she’s autistic and he starts laughing even louder again. Then tells me I need to stop telling him how she’s autistic and how funny it is and if I keep telling him that he’s going to keep laughing. She is five years old this broke my heart and my seven-year-old son heard this and didn’t understand why he thought it was funny that she special needs. I was caught off guard so much I really didn’t know what to say at the time I was also extremely exhausted I just got out of line after getting my food and sat in the car and cried. Also explaining to my seven-year-old that it’s not funny and I don’t understand why that man said those things. I have never in my life encountered to two horrible behavior especially from an adult to a special needs child let alone anyone I’m usually a regular at McDonald’s this makes me never want to ever go back especially to this one. I reached out to corporate and haven’t heard...
Read moreI must start by saying that we stopped at this location in the weeee hours of morning as we were traveling home from Florida after a 2 wk visit with family. Ordinarily, you would assume that at 3am if you happen to be the ONLY car in the drive-thru that, chances are, you may end up needing to wait a few minutes to get your food because it is made to order because of the time of night. That being said, I assumed WRONG. Now, I can't complain about the burger. It was warm and was as close to fresh tasting as I had expected. But THOSE FRIES!! YUCK!! Ive found 1s in the floor of my car that tasted WAAAAYYY better than the 1s I was given on this visit. The young girl at the window was extra nice and polite to us and I even noticed the ice cream machine actually was working at this location. (Thats rare, btw!) When I pulled into a parking spot to eat my food before I had to get back on the road, I figured out why the girl was extra nice! We waited, maybe, 2 minutes at the window for our order and we still got fries that make a bite of cardboard taste like a delicious steak! We had 2 large fries and not 1 single fry was fresh or even warm for that matter! For a restaurant that is so highly regarded for those "famous fries", this location really DROPPED THE BALL! GET IT TOGETHER MCDONALD'S!! Some people really benefit from a few extra training hours in...
