Snack Shack — Restaurant in Georgia

I've had a couple burgers from here and they were always top notch. Today, I decided to try the fish dinner. I've been staring at my phone, looking for words for almost 5 minutes now. If only I could go back in time and control my life. I would have this in my weekly rotation from the day my teeth burst from my gums. The fish itself was crispy, flavored well, and massive. I think they caught a 10 pounder and filleted it just for me. The tartar sauce, oh the tartar sauce. Lots of lemon, but creamy and oh so good. I couldn't dip deep enough into container. Sides...I had onion rings and pintos. Same awesome batter on the rings as the fish. So so good. The pintos, well, I left the provided plastic ware in my kitchen and refused to walk the 20 feet to retrieve them. I drank the juice and munched them from the bowl like a starving, rabid dog. I was not all that hungry when I ordered that meal, assuming I would have leftovers. Now, I am so full that typing this is rather difficult and I have nothing to eat tomorrow. I guess I'll have to go back. I'm not going to regret it. Thanks to Sherry and the crew there. People of Google, go get...

Had passed it many times and a couple days ago my timing was right. Had only seen the sign from driving past. It's a walk up window place that is well maintained. You can either take away or easy at some covered picnic tables or in your vehicle. I ordered the fish sandwich and onion rings. The fish was a small portion, cut in half to fill the bun. It was cooked well, but nothing special. The onion rings were pretty greasy and no real onion taste in most of them. While I was waiting I heard several folks order the bbq stuffed potato, burgers and foot long dogs. So I ordered the wrong thing. Next time, and there will be a next time, I'll get something more in their wheelhouse. The folks there are super nice. Calling in your order will save you a bunch of time waiting. But your good isn't sitting under heat lamps and is cooked...

My absolute favorite place to stop for fast a bite! Their food never fails... For the hateful folks fussing about pricing. Get a grip. Cook for yourself. Then you'll understand the increase in prices. This great place is still cheaper than most for the quality of food and the service here. When you actually have to buy food...you'll understand that the cost of food has been going up the last year or so. Shame on you for trying to trash talk a small business that does their best to keep not just cost fair. But the quality of their food & service too. Personally, I've been eating here over 5 years. They are the best. I'll go out of my way, spend the extra in has as well as a few cents more for the service & quality of food. Keep it up Snack Shack!!! You All rock! Matter fact. We will see you...
