THE COOP — Restaurant in Georgia

I’ve ordered here twice and unfortunately will not be returning.

The first time, I placed an online order and waited the allotted time shown on my receipt (plus a little extra). When I arrived, not only was my food not ready—it hadn’t even been started. The cashier explained that she was only helping out and didn’t realize the order had come through. I ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes in the restaurant. I let it slide since the food was good and assumed it was a one-off mistake.

A couple of weeks later, I placed another online order. This time, I even called five minutes afterward to confirm. The man who answered told me they were no longer serving breakfast, even though the online ordering site still allowed me to place (and pay for) the order. No one reached out to let me know. If I hadn’t called, I would have just shown up for nothing. I requested a refund, and he said it would be processed.

By Tuesday, the charge had gone from “pending” to “completed,” with no refund. I called again and spoke to a woman who seemed confused by the situation but promised to issue the refund. That was two weeks ago. Nothing.

It’s not about the $30—it’s about integrity. The food itself is good, but customer service and accountability are just as important when running a business. Unfortunately, I won’t be spending my money here again. I do hope the owners make the necessary improvements, because they have the product part right—but that alone isn’t...

Walked in the store the daughter don’t greet with good energy seemed as if she didn’t want to be there she said what you getting? A customer gets up from one of the two tables inside the restaurant and say, “excuse me how much longer I mean I’ve been here for 45 mins waiting on chicken I could’ve cooked at home all this time!” So I’m instantly like oh! Wow! But me always trying to patronize my people I ignored the attitude from the daughter and the yelling man! I ordered my food which took about 20 mins. Me trying to get home out the heat didn’t realize I didn’t check my food before leaving smh(my fault) just to get home and the home fries were deep fried to a burnt crisp! The bacon was dropped in the same oil deep fried and burnt!! The toast was slightly toasted with the middle being soggy from a large amount of butter sitting in the middle of the bread and the eggs were the liquid eggs in a carton with no flavor!!! I called the daughter picked up the phone told me to hold on after 15 mins I hung up and called back she answered again and said, “look my mom or dad a call you back!” And hung up the phone still haven’t received a call! I just won’t be back a horrible experience and environment and I would never recommend anyone...

I was looking for breakfast places for delivery cuz I put my car in the shop and I saw this one on doordash, so this was a first time order. I wanted The Coop breakfast with eggs scrambled with cheese, toast, bacon, home fried potatoes and pancakes with peach punch. Also ordered three fried whole wings, shrimp and grits, a cup of coffee, and an order of french toast.

Overall good... granddaughters loved the pancakes and the peach punch. They also enjoyed the French toast. The whole wings were good, a little small, and needed a tad bit more seasoning but they were tasty. didn't enjoy the shrimp and grits as much as I thought I would. I love shrimp and grits but typically the shrimp does not have the peel on it so you can eat it with the grits. There's has the peel on, essentially tail on, so you can't eat it with the grits. You end up eating them separately, which is not ideal.

The delivery took about 45 minutes which is okay cuz my granddaughters were not out of bed yet. By the time they got up it was only about 10 more minutes before the driver arrived. Everything was packaged well, driver handed the order off to me. Food was still warm and good.
