We were absolutely blown away by the atmosphere - everything about it was astounding and truly impressive. The food was just as remarkable, bursting with flavor and beautifully prepared. Unfortunately, the service was a major disappointment.

Our server was incredibly inattentive. Our drinks sat empty for long stretches, and we often found ourselves scanning the room for her, only to see her occupied with anything but tending to tables. When I asked another server for a to-go box, they acknowledged the request, but the boxes never arrived. In the end, I had to get up and ask for our bill after my family had already stepped outside - understandable given that we have two young children who are still learning patience.

It was disheartening, especially since we had been looking forward to this experience for quite some time. That said, I do hope to return in the future to enjoy the stunning atmosphere and delicious food once again - hopefully with service that measures up.

Updated to add: After leaving this review, I was contacted via Facebook Messenger late at night by the server in question. Rather than taking the feedback professionally, they defended their poor service and asked me to remove my review—at nearly midnight on a Sunday. I find this completely inappropriate and unprofessional. My experience speaks for itself, and I stand...

We enjoyed this restraunt for many different reasons FOOD: great hot quality selection of many different items VIEW: sat on the back deck and was wonderful to look out at the Germantown countryside and enjoy dinner SERVICE: server very polite young lady new at serving tables but did a good job We ordered jalapeño poppers which came out first with no plates for appetizer also ordered chicken wings with Buffalo and blue cheese GREAT!!!! really like the cornflake breading on both these appetizers good meaty wings also Wife ordered the chicken salad(which was very simple) with three ingredients but when you quality ingredients you don't need alit of seasoning to cover up the food taste!!! and pucked beets which were also tasty I order a classic burger with onions pickles and cheese mashed potatoes(homemade not canned or instant bagged etc etc good oke fashioned mashed potatoes made with REAL potatoes hard to find a restraunt that still does that?? To the owner: take the time to train servers more effectively Several steps for this. Server could have made it a better experience for us example Bing appetizers at Sametime kitchen should coordinate it that way unless otherwise asked to cone out separate bring plates for appetizers Thaks will be back keep up the good work at yr...

I was so excited when I found out a new restaurant was coming to town. We haven't had anything like it in years. We have tried three different times, and each time it was a disappointment. All four of us said, "Where is the flavor in the food?" The place is beautiful, and the people are great. But the food is so bland. I feel like I'm back working in the nursing home, eating the food from the kitchen. I hope someone who knows how to cook will take over the kitchen because it's nice to have something so close. But if things don't change, I can't say I will ever eat there again.

Update Only replying to your unprofessional comment. I have no idea who you are. And I've given that place more than one try. The food has no flavor. Maybe try adding some spices. From other reviews, I'm not wrong, and everyone else in germantown who's scared to say anything that has never had any flavor can't count. I worked at the old country inn, and it was the best. We haven't had anything like that in town for so long; people are excited. But mark my words: if you don't work harder on your food, it's just a matter of time. The $800 in rent is definitely helping you save. I...

First time stopping in. The place is nice, well laid out and very clean. Was greeted upon arrival and after a minute was seated. The hostess and waitress, same person, was very nice and polite. I ordered the lunch special and it arrived in less than 5 minutes. The meat loaf was okay, potatoes were better and the Mac and cheese was a bit on the salty side. They provided margarine for the roll so I requested butter, what place called “Southern Table” would serve margarine, but that was corrected. Although it was hard. Seriously always a negative to me when a place serves fake food. Waitress checked on me numerous times so the service is above average. The price was a bit above average. The serving size was average. Would I stop again, maybe.. the food was nothing to brag about the biggest pluses were the service and facilities. Lastly they have separate pricing for cash verses CC. Seems cheap to me but then again restaurants are supposedly small margin businesses.

We just had a wonderful meal at Kim's Southern Table in Germantown, KY. It's a really nice restored older building. We all tried eachothers food and we all really liked everything we ordered. It was a really good meal with greatly attentive & friendly service. The hand pattied burger was really good and the tenders, onion rings and catfish were hand-battered and well seasoned. The beer cheese & pretzels were tasty as well. Glad there was extra to dip the fries in! I suggest you giving this place a try!
