So my fiance and I walked into this subway and got greeted like normal. Well the one lady that was already standing up front working, had a line forming and asked for help. So the manager Deb walks in and starts to help at the register not even with the sandwiches. I start to ask for what I wanted on my sandwich, and the girl asked her how she would ring it up. I like my sandwiches complicated so I wasn't to concerned at first. But when the general manager couldn't figure out how to ring my sandwich up I told her I wasn't even concerned about the price that she could just double meat it. She then rolls her eyes towards me, and yells at me. Now I've been in customer service a long time. And I've always been told the customer is almost always right. I them found out that she was extremely rude to my fiance as well. At the end of our transaction she tried sugar coating the end of the interaction by being sweet. The ONLY reason I gave this place a 2 star, is because the lady up front looked short on experience. Probably due to that general manager Deb not trainer her properly. And the food was decent. That general manager needs to go if that store is...
Read moreNo joke, this was hands down the best footlong steak and cheese sub I've gotten from a Subway since I can remember. Even though they were short staffed, the two lady team didn't try to rush through. They meticulously crafted each sandwich with care and love, like each person's meal mattered. When I said "extra tomatoes" Deb laid those suckers on like her life depended on it. My sub was toasted to perfection, the cheese melted nicely over the double meat portion I ordered. And she even used the knife to fold the insides into the sandwich as she closed it, like the seasoned pro she is. And don't think I didn't smash all 12 inches of this monstrosity like the champ I am. Now for those tasty raspberry cheesecake cookies that are the staple dessert to finish off what could very well be the most perfect Subway meal I've ever devoured. Thank you, Deb, for your undying vigilance in constructing what may have very well been the...
Read moreIt had been a while since I had a Subway sandwich, mostly because I've been doing the keto thing. Today was a cheat day though, so I thought I would stop in and see what this new "we slice our own meats" thing was all about. Obviously Subway felt threatened by Jersey Mike's and they had to take action. I saw the signs advertising the new freshly sliced meats and I saw the meat slicer. However, when it was time for the nice young lady to apply my turkey, it came straight out of the bin at the sandwich prep table. I don't know if it was sliced in-house earlier in the morning or if this new advertising campaign is just a bunch of bologna! If the meat is being sliced in-house but not in front of the customer when they order, doesn't this defeat the purpose of the whole campaign? The sandwich was good but I...
