This is a haven and a refuge in the vast Dakota plains. We spent a couple nights in Gettysburg recently for some pheasant hunting, and we frequented this delicious café.
In addition to excellent lattes, espresso's, and coffee, this café has a extensive menu. I tried the turkey club on a bagel sandwich, it was excellent, well flavored, good quality ingredients.
For breakfast I had the egg bacon and cheese on English muffin, that was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. It may have something to do with a 20° weather in Long pheasant hunt, but either way it was absolutely delicious.

   Read moreWill not go back. The food was good, the service on the other end had a lot to be desired. Three out of our four meals showed up in 45 minutes. The fourth finally showed up at the hour mark. The manager/owner was very rude not only to her staff but to her customers. They gave our fourth meal to the wrong table, which happens I get it, but put a rush on it not take an additional 15 min to get it out. It was only a burger and fries. Never offered any compensation and when we asked they took two dollars off and made very rude comments the whole time!!! Worst...
   Read moreThese folks were so sweet. While there’s no gluten free menu, they do have GF buns. I asked about cross contamination and was told they cook everything on the same griddle. While they didn’t have any pans they could use to isolate my burger, they did offer to clean off part of the griddle to help keep me safe, which I really appreciated. The burger was very tasty and I didn’t get sick! Grateful for all their kindness and patience as there’s not many options around here that are safe...
