Moes Pizza — Restaurant in Gilmer

I went in and ordered a meat lovers pepperoni pizza do you didn’t ask my name like they do and the guy told me it would be 15 minutes I waited 15 minutes and went in the food was not ready and they told me it would be a few mor minutes when you think of a few you would think 5 minutes no it was longer 15 more minutes went by and my dad came in and ask if it was ready I was still in there waiting for the food to come out standing bc I think it will only be a few minutes but no they told my dad it was almost ready so my dad went back to the car and 15 more minutes went by and still no food and I was standing there the Whole time Finally finally we get it and we went to the car and my dad told me to check the food and I did and it was to pepperoni pizzas when we ordered pepperoni and meat lovers so I went back in and told them and they said they must of stacked it wrong but we were made because people came in and got there food after me when they came in after me and I food is too greasy one lady was nice but the other staff were mean so I Waited 45 minutes to get two pizzas it does not take that long and the...

The food is always great but they have very poor service!! I used to order food for pick up atleast twice a week, was on my way to work one night and stopped to get my order and was told I must have called another Moe’s pizza because they didn’t have my order so I didn’t have time to get anything else that night! It’s the only Moe’s I have on speed dial!!!! Was told another time at pick up window that another guy with same name as me just pulled off with my order that’s why they didn’t have it!! Had friends over and had waited 30 min for that wonderful load of bull!! Owners not very personable for sure!! Have had several incidents happen like the above mentioned so I go to another place in another town for my pizza and I live only one mile away!!! Very sad!!! Staff is mostly teenagers who have no people skills and are rude and upon showing up last time to be let down I saw one of the girls either pretending to lick a plate or really doin it but with that bein seen it was final...

My first experience with Moe's was terrible. My husband had a pizza and I had wings. The wings were the same you buy from the grocery store, baked and sad, broken bones and greasy with very little flavor. My husband remarked that they told us the crust is made by hand, but the crust had obvious machine markings on it. Also, the service was non existent. Never checked on us, never refilled drinks, etc. Update: Since then we have (alone and with the kids) had Rikki as our server and EVERYTHING was awesome! We found out they are proofing the dough in the pans which is what made the machine looking markings that the previous server had no clue about. (I haven't even seen her anymore, so I guess she is gone now.) Rikki was knowledgeable and attentive without being annoying. Definitely ask for her!
