For my birthday this past Friday, my family and I decided to celebrate at Fish Eye Grill, a local gem renowned for its fresh seafood and warm, welcoming ambiance. The atmosphere at Fish Eye Grill strikes a perfect balance between casual comfort and southern charm.
Our server Mallory was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping us even though she stated she was new. Appetizers were great and disappeared almost as quickly as they were brought to the table. The main courses were nothing short of spectacular. I opted for the 48oz. Tomahawk grilled steak which was perfectly cooked and served with garlic mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. My family sampled a variety of dishes, from the shrimp and grits to the parmesan-crusted Flounder with Pesto cream sauce and each one was a hit. The flavors were fresh and vibrant, showcasing the high quality of the ingredients.
What truly set our experience apart, however, was the personalized touch from the owner. Midway through our meal, the owner of Fish Eye Grill stopped by our table to check in and ensure everything was to our satisfaction. His genuine interest in our dining experience added a layer of warmth and hospitality that is rare to find. It was clear that he takes immense pride in his establishment and cares deeply about his patrons' enjoyment.
If you’re looking for a top-notch dining experience with a side of genuine hospitality, look no further than Fish Eye Grill. It’s a dining experience that will leave you eager to return.

Read moreI traveled to Girard, GA this weekend to try the Fish Eye Grill. The restaurant is seemingly in the middle of no where, but you wouldn't know it by the completely packed restaurant. We started off by meeting the owner, Ryan Mobley, and I immediately felt like family. He is a farmer from Girard that went from cooking for friends to now running a thriving restaurant! We were brought a plethora of appetizers with my favorite being the duck wontons with a teriyaki glaze and the seared tuna with Wasabi coleslaw. Here's where the night got out of hand in the best way possible. We got three main courses: shrimp stuffed flounder, the grilled pork chop and of course the 48 oz tomahawk steak. The tomahawk steak has always been a dream of mine but always too pricey. Well, not at Fish Eye Grill. This 48 oz steak with two sides will only set you back $65... yes you read that right - $65! The rest of the menu is very reasonably priced, and I'm still in shock at the value. Huge thanks to Ryan Mobley and his staff for yet another amazing dining experience! Do yourself a favor and make the drive to the Fish Eye Grill, and let them know...
