Opie's Pizza — Restaurant in Girard

Delicious pizza in my opinion best within 65 miles. I've have dined in opies restaurant numerous times there customer service is normally extremely friendly and understaffed yet they rarely get behind. I've watch this Bisn blossom from video East & West to what it is now I honestly couldn't write a review on there deliver pizza. I gave opies 3 stars out of 5 on atmosphere for a basic yet essential reason the store is just small ok and when I'm eating I don't like super togetherness and last I checked this isn't Europe and we just got out of one of worst plagues to our species as of now. Food is usually good. Atmosphere is clean and nice. However, service is spotty. I've had good experiences and bad. Like 50/50. Our most recent trip was the worst. A large group of my family came in to eat together. There was 11 of us. We asked to move some tables/chairs together so we could all sit together. We were rudely told no and then the staff that told us no, went to the back to gossip and laugh at us all while we waited for the rest of our family to show up and decide if we were staying or leaving. We eat together as family every Tuesday. Needless to say, we won't ever be coming back as a family. I love the salads here, but might never order one...

The store was empty when we arrived. We had never been there before and didn't know to order at counter. We sat down at a table. After about 3 minutes we were finally greeted and told how to order. The pizza was fantastic!! We camp at the lake several times a year and will make frequent visits to Opies in Girard! One suggestion I would give is greet your customers when they come inside.
