Edit 5/24/25: Reply from Marco's X account on 5/16/25 asked for my contact information to "escalate this to the appropriate parties." I provided my email address 90 minutes later. Fifteen minutes after thatm they stated that they had indeed "escalated this to the appropriate parties. Someone will be reaching out." Yesterday, a full week later, I sent another DM to the Marco's Corporate X account asking if I was supposed to hear from somebody by now. I am STILL awaiting a reply!
Edit to add: In reply to the Owner's reply. A DM was sent to the Marco's Pizza account on X. We used to be BIG fans of Marco's. Not anymore.
A couple of weeks ago, we place our order online, as we had done dozens of times before. We get told when to pick up the order (basically 15 minutes after placing the order). I walk in to get it 5 minutes after the time the order was promised, only to be told that it will be "another 10 minutes. They're finishing assembling your order for the oven." Had I not paid for the order already, I would have cancelled it right then and there!
While waiting for my order to cook, three other people came in for their orders. Each one was offered things such as paper plates, napkins, and packets of cheese and red pepper flakes. When my order was FINALLY ready, I was offered none of these.
When I got home, i went to open the container of Pizza Sauce to go along with my CheesyBread. The container was bulging, and when I opened it, it exploded onto my face and hands. The sauce itself was sour and rancid.
Part of our experiences with Marco's is that within 24 hours of your order, they almost always send a request for the customer to fill out a survey. In return, they provide you with a coupon for a free side of CheesyBread for a future order.
You had better believe that I filled out this survey! Part of the Survey process includes a question asking if you would like someone from Store Management to reach out to you about your visit, and if so, please provide an email address. Well, I did want to be contacted, I provided my email address and I am STILL awaiting that email.
Late last week, I went to the Corporate website for Marco's Pizza, thinking that this local restaurant could be a franchise location. I filled out the 'Contact Us' form on THAT website, describing everything above (including not hearing back from Management), and I stated on that contact form that I would like to hear back from the Corporate organization.
Alas, I am still waiting.

Read moreFIVE STARS!!! Marco's Pizza is the best! I would like to share our experience. Please read: My 9-year-old granddaughter and I visited Marco's Pizza on June 9, 2018. She had received As on her final grade card and we went to Family Video to receive a free movie for each "A" she received in her core subjects. We were delighted to learn that her hard work was also rewarded with a free small pizza next door at Marco's. So we walked over and ordered her pizza. A fine young man, Jackson, assisted us with our order. He was extremely kind, professional and helpful. Great job, Jackson! You are an excellent example of how customer service should be! The "Marco's Family" must be very proud of their employees. It is a family-oriented place and the "love" is in the air there. The restaurant is well maintained, very clean and comfortable. The pizza was fresh, hot and delicious. (Or as my granddaughter stated "Deeee-licious"!) They use only FRESH ingredients, never frozen, and their sauce is super yummy! We will be visiting Marco's much more often for our family pizza nights. IT TRULY IS THE BEST PIZZA!! Please folks... Visit Marco's Pizza and then stop next door and grab a movie or two at Family Video. (It was fun picking out a movie the "old-fashioned" way!) Let's show businesses who: Treat their customers with appreciation, Provide a quality product and/or service, Treat you like a family member and ... Go out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction ... Are the businesses who deserve our patronage! We should spend our hard earned money where we are appreciated and satisfied. Read moreHaving lived in Columbus, Ga for a short amount of time I was excited to see a Marco's locally in the KC area. The food is usually good, that was true for this particular store as well, decent food.
Our problem this time is that we drove from Independence to pick up the pizza and when we got home we realized we were missing an order of cheese sticks, and two of our 3 pizzas were missing toppings, one of which didn't have anything but cheese on it.
Sure we probably should've checked our order before we left having driven so far, but we really shouldn't have to do that.
Management seemed fairly easy to work with when we called in our issue so that is a plus, but hardly out-weighs the huge disappointment in service.
I would also say for pizza that is decent quality the price is pretty...
