A look at my other reviews will confirm I rarely give a negative review.
Generally, if I don't have something positive to say I just don't say anything.
This was our second time to order from Tre Pizza. Our first pie was, well... awful. Toppings were "dumped" on top it seemed after cooking. Piled high and loose rolling around in the box. Taste left much to be desired.
My husband talked me into trying them again. Everyone has an off day from time to time. We get it, we have them too. Plus we like to support our area's small businesses.
My husband ordered ONE pizza and an order of wings plus ONE extra sauce he stated he understood he would need to pay for- perfectly acceptable. I was in the car when my husband ordered and heard the whole conversation and can confirm that is what we ordered. The guy taking our order came across really decent on the phone. "Ok, this is gonna be good...glad we decided to try them again," we both agreed & drove over to Park City to get our order.
Not sure what happened during our drive to Tre Pizza but when we got there out order was not correct. No big deal. It happens. Tre Pizza had prepared two pizzas instead. We only ordered ONE. The owner rung it up $50 and my husband asked for what? And restated he ordered ONE pizza, wings, and an extra sauce. Prices are on the menu so we already knew our grand total should not be $50. The owner practically called my husband a liar and began being outright rude!
My husband took his card back and more or less told him to keep the order.
He's the one that got the order wrong, not us. We weren't asking for anything for free. Keep the extra pizza you made. We're just not paying for what we didn't order. But to treat us like that over this??? Asinine. Way too far over the top.
Maybe he was having another off day? Maybe he isn't from around here and has a low opinion of those of us that are? Maybe he only wants a certain type of people to frequent his business? Maybe he's dealing with things we don't know about & has a lot on his plate?
I don't know the answers to any of those questions. What I do know is that you don't treat people you want to frequent your business in this way.
Sincerely, I hope things get better for you if you were just having a bad day. Don't worry about us trying your pies again though, it won't happen.
Cave City Pizza for the win! We won't stray for our...
Read moreThis is not just pizza. This is an experience. The kind that makes you close your eyes on the first bite and question every average slice you have ever settled for. The crust is crisp on the outside and soft in the center with just the right amount of chew. The sauce is bold, balanced, and clearly made from scratch with care. The cheese is molten perfection. Toppings are fresh, full of flavor, and generously layered without drowning the pie. It is pizza made by someone who actually loves what they do.
Now let’s talk about the man behind the magic.
The owner is the kind of guy this world needs more of. Genuine. Humble. Present. He makes you feel like your visit matters. He does not just run a restaurant. He leads with pride, respect, and by example. He is the type of guy you root for. The type who stays late to mop the floor but still walks a to-go order out to your car with a smile.
If you are anywhere near this place and do not stop in, you are doing your taste buds and your sense of community a disservice. This is where comfort meets quality. Where passion meets pizza. And where the owner proves that being a good person...
Read moreThe owner is so rude and petty. Pulled in there for a few moments so we could google the reviews(😂) and his little butt came running out to see what was going on. (We were also on our way to kid swap; not at this location) he should have let me park there for a few more mins to make it look like they have business. Unfortunately business' dont last long in that location. The rudeness you have displayed to the community (as clearly stated in the reviews) will be the reason you are closed permanently in less than 6 months. You don't like people parking in your precious parking lot (which is a gravel lot; i would possibly have more understanding if it was freshly paved, but no), u clearly have an issue with kid swaps (it's children!) And one poor guy needed to go to the funeral home to make arrangements for granny and you declined that, and lost a good patron. I just want to know, WHO HURT YOU ?!!?!? I hope u listen to your community and make some changes because the way you are going is not it. People are choosing save a lot food over yours. Let that sink in......
