when Frank Lloyd Wright designed homes, many of them started with small entrances with low ceilings that opened up into bigger spaces meant to feel like the building itself was giving you a hug this design was called ‘compression and release’. Curly’s in Gleed, i believe is a perfect example of this. the first, small room is the entrance, grab a drink or a pitcher for $14.50 cash, and move into the billiard room where you will be greeted by 4 pool tables and a rowdy crowd.
