9/1/22 Update: our family no longer visits as they add "nit-pick" charges onto your bill, food portions have decreased significantly, and some staff are not at all welcoming. It is a shame what has happened to this once great restaurant. We now prefer driving into Ladysmith for better food options.

This place is awesome!!! The owners are incredibly hard working and they cook all of the delicious food themselves. They don't charge you for simple substitutions and the food is consistently high quality. I highly recommend this friendly, small town America...

We were camping in the area and in town for a family reunion. This is the only restaurant around unless you drive into Ladysmith. Waitresses were very nice. That's the only reason for the 2 stars. My husband's fish came with literally a cup of mayo, not tartar sauce, his salad was lettuce and cucumbers with a side of dressing. No coleslaw. I had the hot beef sandwich. The special was near $11 and consisted of a baked potato and a country fried steak. Really very little on the plate for that price and we left hungry. It looked like my grandson's chicken fingers off the kid's menu might have had more food. Other grandson said the gyro sandwich was much smaller than he was used to. Lemonade was like sugar water.
