Gentlemen at the register struggled to understand the order (I ordered no bun for a burger since my son is gluten free). A female staff member came in and completed the order. Then discovered they doubled 1/2 the order when they brought the food to the table. I thought the total was a little high but I didn't check the receipt. That's my fault. They couldn't figure out giving me a partial refund so they refunded the entire meal and charged me correctly the 2nd time. The food was good and the service was quick and friendly. I like the food, but I ended up walking out without service my last visit a few days ago. Nobody else in the place and apparently it was more important to show off how well you make a cone with another co-worker, or clean the ice cream machine, or walk in and out of the back area (office?) then it was to help a customer standing there. One person handling the window (only person I saw actually working), two people handling the counter and two people walking in and out of the back, maybe the cooks. I finally just left. I don't eat a great deal of fast food. It when I want a quick and tasty meal, this DQ is a go-to choice. It's clean, well-staffed, and well-managed. My order is always delivered to me at my seat within a couple of minutes and the meal is delicious. The food is hot and tastes as if the people who prepared it want diners to enjoy the experience.
