Cady's Tavern — Restaurant in Glocester

At first glance this may appear to be a "biker bar" and while it is popular with motorcycle enthusiasts, it would be a mistake to dismiss it as only that. The number one reason being that the clientele are the friendliest people you will ever meet. My wife and I go there occasionally and she often strikes up conversations with strangers and ends up making friends. We've met people of all ages and lifestyles who like to come there for different reasons. One of them being the food, which is my second reason. The wings are my favorite and they come with a variety of treatments, but there are always many great items to choose from. The third reason to seek out Cady's Tavern is the music. The range of local and regional talent that make their way through the doors is impressive as is the talent on display. The Blues Jam every Sunday afternoon is not to be missed. Cady's is also historically significant, but you should find that story out for yourself...

Sunday Jams are fun. Wednesday jams not so much. I was going to jam with a guitar player on a wednesday night and the woman in charge of the jam decided that didn't work for her, even though the person playing guitar said she was ok with it. ITS A JAM! The website says menu until closed. This is not true. They seem to close kitchen at random times. They are open till 1am. Ive been there at 11pm and could not get food. "Whatever time the grill closes". The food there is great. My second favorite place for wings in RI! And prices for beer and food or liquor are better then any where ive been in RI. The bartenders are very nice and down to earth but can be slow if caught in a conversation with some one at the other...

Great stop man. Food is amazing!! Service is fast & friendly. About 8 of us from south eastern Mass was out on a bike ride and stopped in for a bite, a beer, and to stretch the legs. It's a bikers bar, but the atmosphere is so chill an laid back. They do have a dining room for families They have an outside dining area as well. That's where we sat. If you're ever in the area. I definitely recommend you stop by and grab something to eat. You won't be disappointed. In the summertime there's plenty of beautiful motorcycles to check out. It's almost like a damn bike show...
