Gallery Pizza — Restaurant in Gloucester Township

Took my family to this place, we always loved their pizza. My husband had been going here since he was a child. It was completely normal for us to either take a pizza to go or dine in. We went in the place to dine in a few days ago and it was a nightmare. I ordered two pizza’s one with pepperoni and the other plain total 58$ just for two large pizzas and one Sicilian slice. Horrible price, the lady at the register was decent enough. When we got our pizza they tasted like dish soap. At first I thought it was my taste buds because I am pregnant so I just threw it aside and tried another, that cheese one tasted like it was nothing but dish soap I couldn’t keep it in my mouth. My husband and kids smelled it but for some reason the lady at the register couldn’t smell it or as she put it, she didn’t have “super smell.” First of all you don’t need to have super smell to smell and taste dawn detergent. My kids, could not finish eating either pizza. They took the cheese off an it was still bad. They replaced, the cheese pizza, we took it to go because come on that was not cool and I couldn’t get the soap taste out of my mouth. Owner was nice and understanding. Once we got home, we tried the remake and it still had the hint of soap but we just threw it out. We definitely will not be going back at all. I don’t know what happened between years ago and now but everything has gone downhill. Edit to response to owner, Sir, yes you did. You came out and told us they must have didn't wash their hands correctly. You apologized, my whole family smelled the soap. The pizza was absolutely inedible. This was my husbands and daughter’s favorite place to go. Instead of just being honest you chose to call my family and I liars??? My husband was right there! He's the one that told you how intense the smell was because you refused to make eye contact with me. You went directly to him. I don't need to lie about pizza or even on your place but you messed up. Instead of apologizing you choose to safe face by calling the people that actually tasted it liars. Great...

I wish I could give 0 stars. Last night they ruined my entire birthday party. I called in and scheduled a delivery and it was sent to the wrong address. When I called originally, I didn’t have to tell the young lady on the phone my address because it was on file. When i realized the pizza hadn’t arrived I called to see were the miscommunication happened to get the matter resolved. The manager had the audacity to call me a liar. I came into the store to try and pick my order up, I gave the man my address to pull up my order and he said it wasn’t ready yet, so i left. I’ve order here plenty of times because this was my favorite pizza spot, so they have my address on file (i know from past orders). The manager has no customer service skills or concern for the customers. There was clearly an operational error last night, but the manager insisted that I was lying and continuously questioned and tested my character, he was way over the line and disrespectful. He refused to remake my order or give me a refund, despite their mistake. The manager also had the nerve to tell me to go to the address his driver dropped off the pizza & get it from them. I will never bring any business back to this place. I wonder if there would’ve been this much fuss if my skin didn’t have...

Customer service every bad and discriminating.Every where you go there is young people. But they are trained properly to treat customers .I cancelled your order and went to another deli and order was taken properly and sandwich was excellent I had to drive to.go.there because you.are.the only sandwich shop near .I even enjoy not just pizza excellent food.and they have.young peoe taking orders.as.well but.they are very polite and knew..how to take orders. You heard the conversation on the from your daughter response but did not hear the complete conversation .i cancel order when you call me to defend your daughter.this was not my first experience of the bad customer service over the phone .Yes your restaurant is the only one near .But I will sacrifice the travel not to go back .Food is ok I really have taste better live panzarooti ,sandwiches hot and cold a little lite on meat especially steak sandwiches. I am happy where I go now I can order a sandwich without any problems...
