I consider myself somewhat of a breakfast food connoisseur. If it was appropriate I’d have it for every meal and I opt for it at every opportunity. That being said I think busy bee has not only the best food but the best service I've ever experienced. I ate here 7 or 8 times on this trip. The staff is hilarious and the food is fantastic. The Bee outdoes all competitors in the northeast in both service and taste. It’s also was the only place I went to that didn’t charge for maple syrup which is bizarre seeing how it’s Vermont but the greediness of other businesses is for another review. On a more personal note all my life I’ve wanted a 2 waffle option and this is the first restaurant I’ve been to that has that! I cannot recommend this place enough. If you’re in New England and you’re in the mood for breakfast food Busy Bee is your best option.

Truly delicious food in a roadside diner with old school, family-owned vibes. The Breakfast sampler meal was perfection, especially the pancake with maple syrup and bacon (bacon was perfectly cooked). The sausage gravy with biscuits and over-easy eggs was exquisite. The home fries were a bit hard on the inside and seemed undercooked, but everything else was 10/10. The orange juice was sweet and coffee strong. The staff inside were so kind and relaxed, urging us to take our time. We would absolutely come back! One note - indoor seating is 10-12 people max, so it’s quaint inside. Come early to get one of the two tables.

Interesting and worthwhile stop along the route if you’re passing nearby Glover. Family run & busy bee restaurant as the name states! Certainly an experience sitting at the counter in front of the kitchen watching the whole operation of the family balancing taking orders, cooking, washing up, checking out customers, and squeezing past each other in the tiny space! Enjoyed the French toast & bacon, wouldn’t recommend the breakfast potatoes if you prefer them browned or crispy at all. Otherwise, lovely simple breakfast spot that gives quintessential north VT

I have to say, I love this diner! A little small, but a ton of heart and love go into the food. I went to today and got the Rueben sandwich special. I coin myself a Rueben connoisseur having tried 100’s across the great country. The Reuben measure is to the top 5 I have ever tried. So tender, didn’t get soggy, the taste was perfect with not too much sauce or kraut! The fries? Fantastically perfect! The is a definite 10! My only criticism is the price. I found it a little high at11$ and this was a special ! And a can soda 1.75$? I have seen very very few Ruebens at that price throughout the country. The average I have seen is 6.49 in special or 7.49 - 9.49. I found 11 high, but you want a great Rueben? Come to the Busy Bee Diner...

Stopped in while I was passing through for a quick bite to eat. Theres not much in this area of Vermont, but I was glad to find such a cute little diner with friendly staff and locals. The owner was sweet and waited for me to come back in when I took a phone call from my boss outside so my meal would be hot. The french toast I ordered was delicious (and as an out-of-stater, I'm always thrilled to be served REAL vermont maple syrup) and they offered me a slice of whipped maple pie. It was delicious but I could only finish half, they didn't even charge me. Will definitely be stopping in again on my next trip...
