Came here to experience the blues jam at least 2 years ago. I don't know why its taken me this long to write a review. The people seemed very nice, and welcoming. I met a young guy who was with his parents and he did a solo performance. His parents were so proud. It was cute. But what I didn't like was when I got up on stage and the leader of the band I was about to play with asked me "what do I normally play" which is a legitimate question, but I went down the list and said a few different genres and styles and then I mentioned "rock" all of the sudden he goes "Rock? I'll play some #@&**! Rock" as if I was challenging him to a freaking guitar battle. It was the way he said it that bothered me. So sure enough when we were playing "rhode house blues" he couldn't resist battling me on stage, as if I asked for it, as if I was bragging about how solid my "chops" are. This shows that he was just looking for a reason to make a fool out of me but didn't have a legitimate reason. I could find his name and picture but its no need, I'm pretty sure alot of people Don't like him, and he's lucky I was in a really good mood that day. Music makes me happy so why wouldn't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAt the Village Trestle in Goffstown NH with Shelly MacDougall-Tremblay today. The Trestle Punch is a huge goblet I am not partial to Caption Morgan but in this mix drink you don't even taste it, more of the pineapple/Cranberry combo and it's so mmm delicious š. An FYI if you order the Tuna Melt it doesn't mention onions but they but plentiful amount of purple onions in it. Besides the onions and they put a bit too much butter on the bread the melt was good . The coleslaw was a bit dry and tasteless more like eating a dry salad. For dessert the cheese cake with blueberry drizzle was creamy melted in my mouth mm The Teramasue was nice and moist it was not sweet so full flavor of coffee like it should be. The better of the two Desserts in my opinion. The service was nice and friendly as well. So yes I would return to try another...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI revisited the Village Trestle under the new ownership of Brenda C. and Amberly Gibbs. I was so impressed with what they have done with the place. It's so beautiful! The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the food, drinks, and loved the new atmosphere. We loved the music and so many different people showed up to play. A lot of talent was there that night! Everyone, especially the new owners made us feel 'at home'. Can't say enough about it. If you haven't been to the Trestle recently you have to go! It is an entirely different establishment.Really worth the trip. I know we will be going back frequently to try out the new menu selections. Great job Brenda...
