Ordered today for first time since they reopened after remodel. Got an email for special of 25% of over $20. Used link in email and was directed to Figaroās website and started order. Clicked ātake and bakeā option (-$1) for both pizzas I ordered. Paid with CR. Requested pickup for 2:45pm. Placed order around 12:30pm. Got there at 2:38pm. Male employee with baseball cap and sun glasses on backwards on his neck said that I was early. Okay, I was, by 7 minutes. Nothing though about my order not being ready. He disappeared for a second and a female employee with quite dirty apron came out. Pulled a receipt from desk and looked at it and said order is already paid for. She then also disappeared and I heard muffled conversation over whoās fault it was that order was not done. Still no word to me about status. I stood back and waited and didnāt ask any questions. At 2:55pm female employee comes out with cardboard pizza boxes and says that my order is ready. I then request that she check online order receipt because I ordered take and bake (not for today but want to cook them tomorrow). She said that I got charged for baked pizza but I show her my email verification that states ātake and bakeā. She says that she can see that on her receipt as well but since I got charged for baked thatās what she made. Guy tells her that I should have said something at beginning. Well, I donāt know what they are doing in the back of kitchen, donāt know if they are only working on my pizzas or also on other orders. Phone rang and she took call in orders as well. She offers to remake pizzas. I say please because they are actually for tomorrow. I wait another 10 minutes. Once they are ready I ask about the $2 discount for the take and bake option. She says that if I am adamant about it that she will give me the money. Before the remodel, I would order online and even though I put in CR info and pay, I would still have to redo CR once at actual store and it would calculate the coupons/take and bake discount. Now apparently they use a different company that handles the online orders and charges are immediate and can not be changed by them. Well, how would I as a customer know that? And if you as the franchise owner know that there is a problem with how that online platform does the charges then make it right but donāt tell me that since I am being adamant I will get the money back. I know itās only two dollars but itās the principle of good business and customer service. Donāt criticize the customer for being early and not telling them the status of the order. Donāt criticize the customer for not accepting the wrong order. Donāt criticize the customer for wanting to be charged correctly. Donāt argue with your co-worker in front of customer. Clean up the restaurant, lots of food scraps on kitchen counter and floors visible. Wear clean attire. Replace several ruined/water damage?ceiling tiles and scraped up walls as it makes place look bad. I thought they remodeled?
Bottomline: I will not go back...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have had the take and bake a few times and always liked it. Today I talked my husband into eating there. HUGE MISTAKE! First they failed to correctly take the order of one of the other families having lunch. The girl that was working went to the back and got the original order and confirmed that they hadn't paid for a second calzone and that she could ring one up real quick and make it for them. It wouldn't have been such a bad thing had she walked back over to the table to tell them, but she loudly anounced it accross the entire restaraunt. Then some red head that aparently works there came in for lunch with her brother and their two loud and obnoxious friends. They were all quite rude. The girl went into the back and prepared their food while the 3 boys made it completely impossible for any of the actual customers to enjoy their lunches. I wouldn't normally have been offended by the girl making her food, but she put her unwashed hands into the containers of food that everyones pizzas would be made from while not wearing a haairnet! Gross, right? Doesn't get any better form there. She then decides to make her friends all ice cream cones. For some reason the machine isn't working right, so she climbs up a step ladder to put her un-netted hair over the soft serve and uses her unwashed hands to reach in and pull out the dirty beer glass thats clogging the machine! And when I personally would have turned the machine off, emptied it and cleaned it before making more ice cream, she makes jokes about it with her friends and the girl that actually was working, closes the lid and continues serving it!!! Yep, they're still serving it now! After that she went over to the area where they keep the regular ice cream that's sold by the scoop where she loudly inquired, "who closes tonight?" She then loudly instructed the girl who was working to "make sure they mop back here, it's disgusting!" And the girl responded that there was "a list of things they hadn't cleaned," before spending the next 5 minutes talking crap about the people who were closing! (Austin and a girl who's name I can't remember, Tina maybe?) Seriously? Keep in mind that this is all happening at lunch time on a Saturday! This is where we left, but I'm quite sure it continued after I was gone. I will most certainly never go back to this restaraunt, and will tell everyone about my experience. So very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband ordered a Papa's Special on 4/23/2021 for delivery, when it got to my house, it was a pepperoni pizza with bubbles that looked like they were squeezed to pop them after the pizza was cooked. Ended up driving over there (I live on the other side of the freeway) to get the right order. My husband walked in and opened the box to show and explain the problem, the lady immediately said "Say No More" and left to make the pizza. We did end up getting a new one that was better but we didn't get the chance to tell them it was still the wrong pizza too. My husband thought it was the Papa's Special with very little meat, until I explained to him it was a pepperoni so he didn't get to correct that part before she started remaking it. This is not the first time we have had either the wrong pizza, a messed up pizza or an under cooked pizza. I have had 2 correct orders out of 8 of my last orders. I like their pizza and they do TRY to fix it, but I'm about over having to get a new order almost every...
